  Most of us do both. But the question was about the difficulty of going without it for a month. For some it would be extremely hard if they did not have a partner to have sex with. As long as you have a man giving you sex that is good, I think you could go a month without dying!

This is by no means a representative sample, but... I have met women who masturbated very rarely and a month without was nothing unusual. However, I have not yet met a man who would go a month without.
