Would the availability of a safe and effective method for penis enlargement help close the orgasm gap?

Women often complain that they are statistically less likely to orgasm from their sexual encounters than men are.

Do you think that is in part because the average penis is unsatisfying to most women and that the availability of a safe and effective method of penis enlargement would help close the orgasm gap?

  • The best way to guess this is to look at what size women prefer, and how much that preference affects their pleasure.

The average is 6" which is also what the majority of women prefer... so it would do a little bit to close the gap but not much.

It might even hurt if the above average men took it and became too cocky (LOL) so as to stop trying to please the women in the situation. When you think doing in and out is all your workload (load ;x) just because you're big you might be a worse partner than if your size was lesser.

    • Where have you read that is the average and what the majority of women prefer?

That last link gives a range, but it'll take me a bit to find the original study and I'm to lazy at the moment

    • It said the average was between 5.1 and 5.6 and that women preferred 6.4.

  • The reason for so many women not orgasming during sex has nothing to do with penis size. It's mostly because the clitoris is on the outside.

    • “… approximately 25% of women always have orgasm from intercourse, while a narrow majority of women have orgasm with intercourse more than half the time … roughly one third of women rarely or never have orgasm from intercourse”

Is it not reasonable to assume that penis size does affect the likelihood of a women to have an orgasm from intercourse for the ones who are capable?

    • I wouldn't know. I'm part of the 1/3.

    • you never have one from only intercourse regardless of how endowed the guy is?
