Would you consider myself being way too safe if I say I don’t have sex with girls unless we are in a relationship?

I do not want an STD. I live in a majority minority area with a lot of poverty so people can sleep around totally unaware they have an STD because they can’t afford healthcare.
So I avoid ever having sex randomly with any random girl. Won’t ever do it. She’d have to be my girlfriend.

Honestly that still not very safe, considering some people change up partners every couple of months. What is the difference if she has been with 16 people she was in a relationship with, or 16 people she wasn't in a relationship with?

You make a good point. Stds are not equally distributed, there's hot spots and often these are the more deprived areas. It makes sense to up your safe sex routine accordingly.

I do agree with you that now unprotected sex has become the norm, or more preferred. I think that these people choose to be ignorant of STD's and choose to be irresponsible adults without any foresight.

You don't need health insurance to get tested for an STD. Virtually ALL cities of any sizable population have free clinics for STD screening, so not getting tested is bullshit.
