First, 36D is going to be considered "large" by most people, or at the very least the very top edge of "medium".
Second, most guys aren't that picky. Most of us happily date women whose body types aren't our personal ideal (assuming a guy has such a thing), because body type isn't our top priority. Of course, if a girl's body is WAY far from our preferences, we will pass, but most guys have a pretty wide range of body types that they find attractive, so as long as you're in that range somewhere, you're fine.

And yeah, a 36D is average on a bigger/curvy girl. A 34C is supposedly dead average, and cup sizes mean less the larger the measurement, meaning a D is only big on a lower measurement, like 32 or 34.
