Would you ever consider becoming a surrogate or donating sperm?

Even if you didn't want any kids of your own, would you help someone else out? An old boss once asked me to be a surrogate for he and his wife. Sorry, but if I’m going to give birth, its going to be to a baby I helped conceive. Giving birth looks painful, and I’ll be lucky to do it once or twice. After that, I’d just adopt or stop. As for a guy donating sperm to me, it would likely be apart of invitro for if I exhausted other options first #FeelFreeToList #SurrogatesAndDonors

What if they offered you a million dollars, gave you a down payment of $5,000 but said you only get the rest once the babys born

  • I would have serious reservations about it. Sure, I help out someone by being a surrogate, but then my DNA walks this earth and I would never know what became of them. I would want to have direct involvement with my kid at the end of the day. As soon as they are born, I am putting my faith into the parents to raise the kid well and I can only hope they turned out ok.

    • Exactly im shocked not more men mentioned wanting to be involved since its biologically their kid

  • I wouldn't want that on myself.. Knowing that i have a children somewhere who are technically mine, but apart from that they are not actually mine and i can't be with them.
    So i wouldn't donate sperm.
I would probably adopt at some point, if the girl i'm with wants to.

    • Ahh i forgot that although they are yours, they are technically not if they have you sign them away. Yea thats sad

  • I only go for direct sperm deposits and I want to take on the responsibility that carries. It's my child too.

    • And I marry any woman with my child if I didn't already.

    • Thats sweet

  • No I could not be a surrogate, its possible if it was for someone like really close like my sister so the child would still be part of the family and all BUT that's only like a.0054% chance of me doing that and she already had a bunch of kids.

    • Thats nice of you

    • Per your update, still probably not. At least not with my OWN but sometimes there is option of using someone else's egg and sperm and just implanting it, so technically its not your own biological child, even if you carry it.

    • By surrogate, im referring to the kid not being your own. Its the other couples implants. By donor, im referring to the guy giving his own in which the kid is biologically his

  • Absolutely not. I don't want children and a big factor is the trauma involved to actually BE pregnant. I sure as hell will not go through that for someone else. Supposedly the child makes up for the fact that it completely ruins your body, life plan, and finances. Can you imagine going through all of the trauma and not even get the alleged reward?

    • Are you saying it affects the surrogates finances because they have to be so careful with certain work positions?

  • I have donated sperm to several women over my lifetime.

    • Do you ever look to get in touch with the kids

    • No kids! It was not in vitro fertilization, it was the old fashioned method. :) :) :)

  • I would actually happily be a surrogate. Birth itself isn't as painful as it looks when you got the right drugs lmao

    • Lol some people be trying to have a natural birth in a pool. No thanks haha

    • yeah thats a hard nope for me lmao XD

    • In the UK, your update would be illegal. In the UK surrogates only get their expenses repaid for.

  • I have kept multi kittens I had taken in to heal from illness, more than once. My bonding force is great. I wouldn’t be able to grow a baby for someone else.

    • I understand that

  • Yes I've always wanted to be a surrogate! Probably once I'm done having my own kids

    • Wow thats really nice. Does it not hurt giving birth?

    • I also have looked into donating eggs but not so sure cause I'd have to go on the pill for a month then do shots to force ovulation so I don't know about that

    • Yea im not comfortable going on the pill

  • I wouldn't do that, I believe I couldn't just pop out a baby and then give it away just like that...

    • True

  • nope... I would not be able to sleep at all, knowing that my biological child is out there while I try and pretend they don't exist

    • Exactly im shocked so many people can easily forget

    • money won´t change me...

  • Why would I be a surrogate? I don’t even want to carry and birth a child for myself, that’ll make me an even more idiot if I do it for someone else

    • Understandable

  • Can I deliver the sperm naturally? Lol

    • Lmao no in a cup 🤣

    • Wow, you're taking all the fun out of it

  • No. I have no intereat in donating sperm.
My girl being a surrogate... that would be a dealbreaker

    • Even if the guy came in a cup rather than her?

    • 100% My wife being pregnant with someone else's baby in her? Hell no. That disgusts me.

  • After witnessing, that women carry out the children of other women like Amber Heard - Hell, No!

    • I wouldn't blame the kid for its moms evil ways

    • No one would. But i would not want to have anything to do with such evil persona.

  • The only way I would consider that is if it was a trade. She agrees to have two kids and we each get to keep one.

    • Oh wow

  • I was asked to "provide" for a friend (lesbian) a few years ago.

  • It might sound rude but i don't want anyone else to have my child...

I know it's to help them but i want my child to grow with me and i can't just donate sperms and forget about that child...

So noooo i won't b ok with donating sperms

    • Its not rude at all. Its normal

  • Fuck no

    • Not even for a million dollars?

    • Nope not a chance in hell

  • Only my girlfriend or wife can have my sperm. Nobody else

    • Totally understandable

  • Only if I can check up on the child and make sure they are safe and also if the woman shares very close values to me as I don't want my seed having some crazy ass ideas pushed by godless sjws and far leftists. I want my kids raised Christian, to be pro life, and to believe in meritocracy. I don't clwant them with an abusive step father or neglectful mother or going without all their basic needs met in life.

    • Yea as a donor you sadly wouldn't get a say so in how theyre raised

    • Well basically if they approached me I would have to get to know them first I wouldn't for complete strangers honestly

  • If a woman asked me to donate my sperm for her, I'd feel honoured in some way, but I would only give that sperm the natural way. Seems an honest exchange to me: fun and donation in one session. No test tube situations for me. Only the real natural thing.

    • Nah that dont count lmao

    • And why not? Seems fair to me. Mind there are sperm banks anyway for ladies who don't want any male contact. Not up to me to judge.
