I feel sex should be an intimate experience, rather than just a means of release.
It's hard to have that level of intimacy I prefer with someone you very barely know. I think even a half hour of what seems like good chenistry may possibly seem sufficient, but I definitely couldn't bring myself to have sex with someone on sight without saying much.

You aren't sexually attracted to gender specific traits then, which opens up the possibility for same sex attraction. Anthropologists say women don't even have a sexual orientation, just an amorphous mess based on narcissistic sexual self affirmation (though would technically be bisexual)/
@Anonymous - "I am straight but demisexual" is technically possible, but confusing as fuck. Perhaps you mean "I am straight, but I am on the asexual spectrum". And by that, what some women might actually mean is "I date men, but I am on the asexual spectrum". It's misleading because it's reaaaaaaaaly easy to misinterpret that. If you are demisexual, you are on the asexual spectrum. So like when you were a teenager you and your friends talked about making out with boys and you were like "why would you make out with a boy?" There's a difference between being on the asexual spectrum and not having sex with random guys.
@bekkesmash I think of female sexuality as two-tier. Tier-1 is like male sexuality, and that part is bisexual. When a woman has testosterone and masturbates, that's tier-1. This is like the sexuality that women feel when they masturbate to porn by rubbing themselves until they orgasm. The other tier is more directed toward the person - to their face - and that tier is more specific to their sexual orientation. So like tier one a woman might masturbate to lesbian porn (oh wow look at that girl getting eaten out by another girl) and gay porn (look at that guy on that dick) and she might get drunk and make out with another girl because it feels good. That's like her tier one - it's hot for her. Tier two she might like older guys who play musical instruments. Like she sees a guy play the guitar and she feels this connection and her friend tells her to go for it and they talk after the show and they go back to his house and she performs oral sex on him. He comes and she likes it. Tier 2.
