I guess it depends then. The only difference seems to be the medium, and whether one wants to see the acts on film or video, or read explicit descriptions of the same acts and form one’s own mental picture. Consumers of both are usually looking for ideas, arousal, or just masturbation fodder. Watching hard core porn, or reading something like “he thrust his hard throbbing cock into her wet, steamy eager pussy until his loin sauce shot out of him and into her” (yes I read a story like that) doesn’t do anything for me. But a written piece that captures sensuality by nuance I find appealing if the actual story is good. But pieces labeled as erotica are usually just dirty books lol.
