Lol I totally have slept with several of my friends of the opposite sex. Hey we were horny, consenting adults, I had an apartment to myself, so why not have a friend, or several, come over (not at the same time, lol) so we could help each other out?

It was generally an unspoken thing, and honestly, for a good three / four years, I had several friends with benefits. None of them knew all about each other, although one of my friends knew about most of the other people. Since it was purely about sex, we never had issues.

I'm still friends with some of them, but a bunch of us moved out and away a few years ago, so it's harder to stay in touch. I admittedly did catch feelings for one of my friends, realizing years later what I was feeling the entire time. But our lives are much different now, so it's better this way. I definitely don't regret any of it; I'm glad we were able to have sex, and I feel it brought us closer.

I have several guy friends in real life and that is exactly why we're friends: I'm not attracted to them in that way, nor could I see it happening (and happily the feeling is very much mutual). I couldn't even kiss them... a hug, maybe? But that would be the limit, lol.

When you meet someone and fall in lover, then marry, they were a friend for you to get close enough to love them. So that is obvious. But you can have other friends where there is mutual sexual attraction and you act on that. The alternate to that would be that you are sleeping with people you don't care about.
