Would you stay in a sexless relationship?

I’ve been dating my girlfriend Rachel since August last year. Me and Rachel have gotten serious. We’re talking marriage and buying a house by the end of next year. Rachel even told me she’s put a distance between her and her guy friends for the sake of our relationship.

But there’s one major issue. Rachel has lost sexual interest but still like to tease me. For example, every morning Rachel stoops in front of me playing with her pussy. When I get in the mood she says “NO”. She always plays with my penis but never lets me touch her back. This kind of teasing really bothers me.

We have sex once every 2 weeks. Rachel always makes up excuses not to have sex. The typical “I’m too tired after work” excuse. She says we need a day off when neither us are working in order to have sex. Which makes no sense because our schedules are opposite.

I suffer from erectile dysfunction from diabetes. So I don’t last as long as a normal guy. Rachel says she only dates younger men because she wants to have sex all the time. She 10 years older than me. This tells me she’s looking for sex elsewhere and I need to end things.

Plus Rachel had a history of sleeping around when she was young. She herself told me she used party a lot, have one night stands, and date multiple guys at once.

So this just raises RED FLAGS 🚩

  • If it was a temporary thing, like for medical/personal issues, sure.
What you wrote about Rachel, though... is like one giant red flag. She sounds narcissistic and manipulative at best. The not having sex part would be the least of my concerns in that kind of relationship.

    • @kaylas91 What do you mean - your comment about Rachel - who is she?

    • No it has nothing to do with medical. It’s because she doesn’t want to!

  • I wouldn't just quit. I'd work on making our sex life better. Couples go through dry spells. However, the answer isn't to just quit. The answer is to figure out what's not working and fix it.

  • So. . . why are you with her? You have stated all the things that you should never ever want in a partner, acknowledge its not what you want and yet you still wonder if you should stay with her? Seems. . . odd. I would never stay in a sexless relationship personally, I wouldn't tolerate any of the behavior you mentioned either.

  • Nope I wouldn’t.

  • I'd be perfectly fine in a sexless relationship

  • It all depends on your love, commitment, and circumstances. Mine has been sexless for over 12 years due to wife's menopause; her vagina became dry and penetration was painful for her. I did not want her to take medication just so sex would be possible due to the possible side effects. It was difficult but it was for her health and well being. our love and commitment was more important.

  • When people get old they can develop all kinds of pysical problems. I knpw somebody that had testicular cancer and cannot have sex anymore.
When I got married the deal was "in sickness and in health"/

    • well it happens at some age but still u dont have to get cancer

  • Sure. I don't see a problem with it. Sex isn't the most important thing in the world and it disgusts me so many people depend on sex to have a relationship. Like wtf, you that selfish that you only care about your pleasure. You can just go out with your partner like on a hike, to a movie, and do better things?

  • fuck no!
    even in Italian: Impossibile

  • If she is japanese salarywoman striving to get the higher rank and at the same time raise the kid, why not.
    I'd avoid if I can though :(

  • No point

  • Of course yes my sex drive is low so it is for best

  • Only with castration involved

  • Absolutely not. I'm extremely horny

  • She probably lost her virginity like around 16 or 17, do you think you and her want to have kids someday?

    • Nope

    • Sounds like you figured out the date getting quite early in life
