Would you tell your partner?

Hypothetically you're a certain race, and you used to be a racist. But later in life whenever that maybe you changed and learned to no longer think like that. And eventually you meet a partner who is the race of whomever you used to be racist towards. Would you ever tell your partner this? And if you were the one being told would you leave your partner?

  • No not at all.

Also, while not exactly racism what happens here is you grow up and don’t meet someone of a certain ethnicity.

For example when at school some years might be entirely white with no other ethnicity.

This just means you are ignorant of other ethnicities and not a racists, however you can get some weird preconceived ideas lol.

Then you end up being best mates with some 6ft tall South African and all the stuff you thought was wrong lol.

Anyhow to the question no, as your past as long as it does not impact the present does not really matter.

    • The thing was the schools I went to were all filled with the race I was racist towards... it's was my race that the school barely had any kids of. And he sorta knows some of the stuff like my parents. Bit I don't think I've ever told him I was like that

    • However you are a changed person now? This can happen with sexuality as well

    • Yes... mostly. I do at times have shitty thoughts about certain people. My race is included in that. I don't think it's always me being racist... more at those times just being a bitch

  • IF my partner confessed to me about being racist in the past to my race. And they confessed that I helped them get passed that part of their personality and state of mind I'd probably just hug them and tell them I'm glad I could help them. Learn to be more accepting and then make them their favorite meal as a celebration of their own self growth.

As to me being racist. I don't really give a damn what the color or race a person is. Just don't piss me off and we will be all good. XD. Although I do have one request when it comes to race and culture just please don't kill me with the food I like spices and flavorful foods. That isn't though an invitation to make me regret having a stomach.
