Y is it looked down upon these days when a woman doesn't want a job and wants to be a homemaker?

Are there still men out there who want to take care of the woman or prefer her to not work? Do you think both should bring in the income?

if you look at house prices, mortgages, rents, cost of living, do you really think it’s a Sign of intelligence to want to sit around at home?

who really wants to be with someone spending their day sitting on the sofa eating cake and watching tv?

women with families manage to work even part time and do usual household stuff, manage kids etc.

the last thing a guy wants (in general) is someone sitting around consuming resources and adding nothing to the family.

Throw in cost of school fees, fuel for cars, energy costs - heating the house as she sits around watching tv, etc then it’s toxic as fuck.

Every generation after the baby boomers needs at least two incomes to support a middle class standard of living for a family if your in the 5-6 figure income range and that’s before the current wave of inflation that is just beginning. If this continues, you’ll need two incomes to maintain a lower class standard of living.

Not sure about other guys but I'm lucky that my husband likes me to stay home and doesn't expect me to work.
It shouldn't be looked down on like nobody should be caring what other couples do.
And no both people don't need to bring income if they can manage on just one income. Problem with that is most people are stupid and don't know how to manage their money 🙄

Because being a homemaker isn't a job. Most women hold a real job and still manage to easily sort out the domestic stuff. Why do these homemakers need to stay home all day to do these things?
Saying you're a homemaker is just confessing you're unemployable and sit on the sofa all day watching day time TV

Yes since both genders started competing in the market place salary for keeping a family feed has just gone down. These days both need to work if you are having average jobs and isn't something really fancy.

Unless the man makes at least $100,000.00 a year or more depending on where you all live the woman has to work for your future financial security. Some of the women who have to work are jealous of a stay at home wife who doesn't have to work. They lash out because some of them don't really want to work

I would be more than happy to do that, but the economic realities today make it very difficult to do that and maintain the lifestyle a lot of people expect.

Then there are us few guys like myself that dream of the day we will meet a woman who actually wants to stay home and raise our kids to be great people, and keep a good home we can come home to. But since both us and you are so rare, we will rarely ever find each other. Liberal media is to blame 🤷🏻‍♂️
