Though I have only been on this site for a short time.. I've seen so many girls asking questions like, "Am I a slut?" or "Does this make a huge skank?". It is so sad that women are meant to feel that they cannot embrace their sexuality and have fun.
I know this sounds like the ranting of the feminists that people (unfortunatly) make fun of or get annoyed by.. but guess what?

Attention to men that judge women like this:
How would you feel if one day you woke up and suddenly you were so overly sexualized that you felt ashamed to even admit who you've slept with? Every day women are treated like objects and fuck toys and yet when they willingly and happily embrace their sexual experiences, they are shamed into submission? Think about that the next time you call someone a whore.
Attention to the women who judge other women like this:
There is plenty that I can say to you. But I'll keep it short. Women already get enough shit from men. Shaming other women will not make a better and more desirable person. Let's try to love and care for each other as much as humanly possible.
Attention to the women who have labeled themselves this way:
You are not alone. I have felt those shameful emotions and embarassing moments and I want you to know that there is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with having as much sex as you desire. Just remember to be safe and know your limits.
Please take note of this. You don't have to agree with me.. just keep it in mind.

Why are guys down-voting this? I'm happy. I just wish it wasn't considered a terrible thing to sleep around. As long as you aren't cheating or making a cheater then it should be fine.
Well I just don't see anything good in sleeping around whatsoever, there are even studies that show that people who sleep around before marriage have a worse marriage quality&higher divorce rates.
Honestly I just love the 'dirtiness' of the word. I just love being called a slut or a whore and I find it a turn on for dirty talk.
And frankly, so what? Why is it bad to be a slut or a whore? I think its dumb to shame anyone for wanting to have sex.
And honestly I'm starting to feel men are beginning to get shamed for it, being classified as a 'player,' 'creep,' or 'thirsty' just for pursuing sexual relationships.
Like a few others have said, i am not going to outright call you a slut, you can have as much sex as you want, BUT don't expect it to be consequence free, we have the right to judge you by our actions, we don't want to date you. So be promiscuous but don't cry when no guy wants to have serious relationship with you.
That is the real reason they are so upset and claim that men who have this opinion are "shaming."

Depends. I've heard a lot of men call women sluts just for hooking up with a guy in the first week of knowing him. I am too ashamed to admit that I have had 3 sexual partners, including my longterm boyfriend, at the age of 20.
Because men are often painted as players or animals with no self-control. That is actually a stereotype and is false like many others.

That's a very poor take. You can't change the way society perceives women, you are acting like women have it hard when in fact men have it as hard. Maybe you should make a take on how men being exploited?
Yes, women who sleep around are seen as tramps and sluts, you can't change it and that's the way it's going to stay because it's been like that for centuries.

The issues is that women can take it or leave it. They have to put in no effort. Thus, if they have many partners they are stigmatised because they have had to do nothing but open their legs.
Men have to work so much harder to have many sexual partners, that is why they are classified as studs or revered by other men.
So, to answer your question, anyone that does nothing to gain everything is looked down upon by society. Even heirs to massive fortunes because they have had to do nothing to get that either.
So society is just society. If you don't like it, live within societal rules. If you don't care about societal rules you shouldn't care about the labels society gives you either.

The words Slut, bitch , whore and prostitute which usually means sleeping with many men, seeking benefit (pleasure or money) are now being mixed up with the meaning of lousy morals , crying for attention and lacking of intellect. Agreed. I'm a feminist myself but not to this ridiculous degree. The problem isn't that women are called whores, it's that men aren't called out for being one as well. Bottom line they exist and its gross.
