I think it's disgusting. A racial fetish and a racial preference are two different things. Racial fetish is when you fetishisize an entire race, believing in such racial stereotypes that it makes you fetishisize that race group. While a racial preference is a whole different thing. It is when you could not help but prefer dating someome of this race group without hypersexualizing them like racial fetish. I believe no one deserves to be fetishisized (or another term, hypsersexualized) just because of their race. It's not like they asked to be born to that race anyway. I see that racial fetish happens a lot around the world, and just by thinking of whatever happens to those getting fetishized just scares me.

I think its fine. Your problem with it seems to be that its basically objectifying people, but that applies to every fetish and frankly, every attraction ever. Fetishes involve focusing on one specific aspect of a person for whatever reason and in this case, its race. Likewise, if you're attracted to someone, you're attracted to them bc of their looks or clothes or whatever, which, again, is focusing on one aspect of their appearance. Following your logic, we should apparently hate any and all attractions and fetishes, just because you're focusing on one aspect of a person, which is crazy. Thus, I think race fetishizing is fine, its just another form of attraction.

It's mostly the hypersexualization of people from a certain race. For example, Japanese girls are being fetishisized quite often because people view them as "submissive", "cute anime girl", etc. At some cases they even get sexualized for wearing their school uniforms.

That is not what I found at all. I had an Indo girlfriend. She was a student at Trisakti, her father was a top executive at a Indo company that if you are Indonesian, you would know. Racists are annoying, and some people with racial preferences have them because they are racist, and some don't. I don't really get where the fetish part comes in.

But if someone is with someone who happened to be of that race, but they're not with them because of their race, but because of they genuinely like this person, then that's just a normal interracial relationship.
