What did you wear through out life abd what age and why did you switch.

I’ll start for my question. As kid up till like 13 I wore the tighty whites mainly Hanes from places like Walmart or other super stores. As I was a teen felt that tighty whites had the stingma so I switch to boxers, then i realized my dick kept popping out so i went knit boxers since it has a button. After wear briefs wearing boxer felt uncomfortable and awkward with no support, everything sticky. I then tried boxers briefs had not impressed other than easy access fly and the not bunching under nice pants. Agfter that I’d say around 20 I missed the support and not having stuck I switch back to wearing briefs but also use knit boxers when i don’t need support.

Interestingly enough, I went from coverage, to more coverage, to way less coverage over the course of my life so far. I grew up most of my younger years in briefs. Around middle school I switched to boxers, and later to boxer briefs, as each of those became trendy for high schoolers at the time. At some point in college I decided to try out thongs for the first time (ones actually meant to accommodate male genitalia), and although it took a while to get used to, I came to really, really like them and they have mostly been the only kind of underwear I wear now, up until about 7 months ago. I started going back to the doctor after years of not going, and I was asked to change into a gown. All I had on was a thong under it, and it felt more awkward than wearing nothing, so I tried that at my following appointment and, while it was a bit more stimulating to the mind and a bit more nerve-wracking when I had to be examined, it felt way less awkward for me. I decided to start going commando to get used to it, and have been almost daily going commando since, whether it's under jeans, sweats, or PJs. I just need to be careful that the fabric of my pants doesn't show off the outline of my penis too much, or just wear dark pants where it wouldn't be visible anyway.

I was put in tidy whities as a kid. I didn't know there was anything else. When I was about 13 or so, I saw a friend wearing boxers when he was changing pants. I thought they looked totally cool and thought my underwear was embarrassing. So I switched immediately.

I've been wearing boxer briefs ever since. They are like wearing light-weight swim trunks. They feel soft and keep my trousers from chaffing my junk. And I like hanging free. I don't need to be tucked up tight in men's panties.

I started out in tighty whites and briefs mainly brands like fruit if the loom and Hanes and remained in these up until high school were after peer pressure attempted to switch to boxers and boxer-briefs around 14 or 15 mabye but never got use to them so kinda went back to tighty whites and briefs within the year.

Same but the wife put me on briefs (I think they are called) they cushion everything and are way more comfortable

Have worn many different styles of men's under shorts over the years and can't recall the timeline. However, have worn Jockey Elance panties for the last several years and prefer them for a few reasons.
