After peeing, do you get drops of urine inside/on your underwear and/or pants?

Some people on my other poll (about stains on clothing - vote here if you haven't) said that men often get drops of urine inside their underwear.

I think maybe men should start wiping themselves after peeing.

I find it hilarious that more men than women say they experience it, but mainly women said it's bothersome. Meanwhile it seems most men don't have a problem with it xD

  • I often find the reason why that is happening, is usually because the waist band from my boxer briefs puts enough pressure on my penis from underneath, so that it puts a slight 'pinch' on the urethra. So naturally, any drops left inside are usually blocked by it. Then when you go to zip up, the blockage is gone, so the left over urine inside will often dribble out... It is like turning your water hose off, but there is still built up pressure behind it, until you release the pressure by using the nozzle, and a short burst of water comes out.

I usually just try to avoid having any pressure, by pulling down my briefs a little further, so as to not create that problem.

This is why women reportedly do not have this problem... There are no external appendages that are likely to get pinched, as well as women have to sit down nor do they wear boxer briefs, which completely negates the 'boxer brief' problem.

    • You don't have an opening in the front of your underwear?

    • @Jamie05rhs I do, but sometimes, it is just easier to pull down, then try to dig around for the opening...

    • Fascinating.

  • The sphincter muscle that closes off the path between the bladder and the urethra isn't at the tip of the penis - it's near the bladder, so there's a long "hose" between that muscle and the tip of the penis that can hold liquid. Women are the same way except their urethra is much shorter - but there's still a ways between the sphincter and the urethra opening that can hold liquid.

Most men will shake or squeeze to empty the remaining liquid out, but it isn't always 100% effective, and it could take a little while to drain out. Not much you can really do about that, though we tend to do what we can.

  • No, I wipe myself very well. My parents taught my brothers to wipe after urinating also. I know a lot of guys who's parents taught them to wipe. I've showed the guys that didn't know. I don't get why it's not more common I always thought do you really like smelling like piss all day everyday.

Men, women's sense of smell is much keener than men's so we smell those urine drops on your underwear... So you take a leak every two to four hours those drops accumulate tgen you go stop out after work start trying to pick up a woman and that's all we smell.

    • So what you do about your asshole? Do you wipe it or wash it after poop? Because only wipe can't remove all odor

    • Buttholes close up after business is settled. Urethra does not. And showers solve the rest of the problem.

    • @Theuniqueboy, I always use wet wipes with both pissing and shitting.

  • Of course, that is what underwear is for.

I always wipe really good before pulling them up, that they are there to catch that stray drop that hides until you are back to work.

Of course there are always other circumstances when panties come in handy... lol...

  • No you have to wipe correctly it’s not just one pass with the toilet paper and boom. You have to take your time and make sure you get everything and leaving anything behind is definitely bad for you.

    • Do you wipe or wash your butt after poop

    • @Theuniqueboy you're a creep

    • @mistixs literally like wtf.-.

  • Is this really a thing?

  • I usually do still have drops but I always make a point of wiping them off my tool with a bit of tissue before I pack it away in my boxers again, so it's never an issue for me. It's really annoying to not do that, have a drop or two on your underwear, then notice the urine smell when you're back at your desk or whatever. Especially since it's not exactly hygienic and in general I try and keep myself pretty clean...

  • I wipe everytime when I pee unless I am too sleepy or cannot find a tissue, then I will dance and shake several times to ensure that nothing ends on my underwear. Lol.

  • As a guy it’s not so much about wiping, we’ve got a longer urinal tract than women and sometimes stuff just gets stuck in there for a bit and leaks out later. If your in a hurry it’s pretty difficult to get everything out and you’ve usually just gotta deal with what happens. If you’ve got an extra minute you can usually get it all cleared up.

  • It ain't only the boys that this happens too. Unless you are able to drain your bladder until you just can't go anymore, and yet there will still be some residuals left in the old pipe line.

    • It doesn't matter how hard you shake it, but the last droplet will always wet your panties 😅🤣🤣

  • Well I do wipe after peeing, but I am sure there is always a drop I might miss, or some might be in my leg,, not enough to cause concern.

  • Guess not wearing underwear prevents me from that problem, but I do sometimes get drippings on my shorts or leggings.

  • I don't, but I can see how it would happen.

Seeing as the penis is a tube, there's at least a few good inches there where a drop or two could get "stuck" at the end. Once you're done peeing, there's no more pressure to propel those last couple drops the rest of the way.

Simple solution, though; I just squeeze my fingers on opposite sides, and run them along the shaft, kinda forcing them out that way.

  • The drops come from in the urethra and work their way down. Wiping what is on the outside will do nothing to stop this.

  • No I dont, I feel like more men have this problem

  • No I don't, because I always wipe.

  • Lol,
As a guy, it's bothersome unless you grab that bird and shake it up and down to get that excess urine drops out 😆😉

    • Careful you don't break the bird's neck.

    • 🤣🤣😆😆😂

    • Actually help tbh hehe...

  • No problems. I just shake the hell out of it before tucking it away.

  • I do get the last drops but instead or jumping up and down like a madman, I squeeze the drops out so it beings it down to one, maybe even half a drop so that's a much better alternative for me.

  • Very tiny bit, i try to wipe myself clean a few times to absorb most of it on the toilet paper to keep my underwear cleaner but it can always happen.

  • This is like your 4th post talking about body fluids and leaking.

    What gives?

    • This poll was inspired by a response on my other poll. My other poll (the one about clothing stains) was inspired by my male friend asking me how often period stains happen. Which other polls do you have a question about? I can explain the inspiration for each poll.

    • Well you asked about getting the vaginal moistness goo ( you had a word for it).

  • Wow. Surprised at the responses. I’ve never met a man that smelled like pee nor have I even heard this was an issue. Big deal a couple of drops. Yet women have vag discharge almost daily and along with that comes smells too. Crabby day today people? So much negativity smh

    • 1) The discharge is the vagina cleaning itself out. That's a GOOD thing. 2) if your discharge smells bad, see a doctor, because it shouldn't.

    • Doesn’t matter regarding discharge... good or bad it has a smell. That’s the point.

  • Every fucking time.. there are no tissues to wipe it

    • You don't have toilet paper?

  • I don't because I sit down to pee and then wipe when I am done
