Do Larger Breasts Have a Positive Impact on Sexual Pleasure?

Do Larger Breasts Have a Positive Impact on Sexual Pleasure?

Some call it a stereotype, others call it just plain natural fact:

Guys like girls with bigger breasts.

Some are even willing to say that women with larger breasts actually enjoy sex more, when compared to their smaller-breasted brethren.

Yeah, I know, here come the "it doesn't matter!" screams. Well, if it doesn't matter, why is the subject of breast size such a commonly addressed topic here at GaG? Why are girls asking if guys think their breasts are too small, and why are so many guys flat-out admitting that yeah, it kinda matters? One question involved the possibility of "small breast shaming" and that's a little worrisome, because it means young girls still - and perhaps forever - will always be self-conscious about their bust size.

Let's start with the scientific (oh, don't groan, it's not that boring). If it helps, I'll toss in this casual vid before we go down that road:

Most experts say size really DOESN'T matter

If you do a little research, you'll find that most experts - or even those who are only "experts" 'cuz they have lots of sex with women - claim that breast size doesn't give them any extra enjoyment in bed. And women will say the same; their bust size doesn't seem to have much of an impact. Most experts advise a man spending time pleasuring a woman's breasts regardless of size, and despite every single guy claiming they know exactly what to do in that area, they might still have a lot to learn.

Hey, come on, education is good. Check out this article from Men's Fitness.

Moving on, the woman's perspective:

Ladies say size doesn't matter...on both sides?

It has been hip to say "size doesn't matter" for years. When women say it about a guy's penis, the guy just assumes she's lying. When a guy says it about the size of a girl's breasts, the woman assumes he's lying. So, the obvious question should be:

"If everyone assumes the other person is lying about the importance of size, is there some truth here...?"

Do Larger Breasts Have a Positive Impact on Sexual Pleasure?

Think about it. Sure, it's a stereotype to say that guys with bigger penises and women with bigger breasts "have more fun" but if deep down, secretly, women like guys with bigger members and men like girls with bigger busts, doesn't that mean they've experienced greater pleasure due to size? There's always a kernel of truth in every stereotype, isn't there? If both sexes are being completely honest with each other, maybe we'd find that the sexual experience really has been amped up thanks to things being...well, bigger.

So, can we say that these GaG poll results aren't all that conclusive because stereotypes are getting in the way?

Do Larger Breasts Have a Positive Impact on Sexual Pleasure?

Maybe it's not the size of anything, but the technique and skill that matters most...maybe

Or, we could just forget the superficial stuff and make it easy on ourselves: If you want to have a great time in bed, you have to practice. It's just like anything else; the more you do it, the better you'll get. And size on both sides won't be much of an issue, right? I mean, skilled lovemakers can have a blast in the sack regardless of penis or breast size. That being said, should we argue about the initial appeal? Girls don't get boob jobs to look less attractive to men; of course, they get enhanced so they look more attractive. Maybe reality bites, you know? I refer you to this AskMen article.

So, no matter how good you are, it won't matter unless you get into bed. And to get into bed, there has to be an initial attraction...and that initial attraction does have something to do with a woman's breast size, right? Not to all men, though...damn, this is getting more complex than I intended. ;) Just for fun, here's a vid on college girls and their reactions to the "size matters" issue:

Maybe there's no way tell if breast size actually enhances sexual pleasure, but we do know it matters to most (both men and women). This Debate.org question says 64% of men care about breast size and let's face it, not all guys are being totally honest, so the percentage is undoubtedly higher.

Where do my fellow GaGers stand on this touchy issue?

  • Whether a thing matters ≠ whether you can actually do something about that thing.

What's the point in knowing that something "matters" if it's beyond yr control?

    • I think the point is to stay away from size queens if you are average or below. Leave them on their quest for the golden cock.

    • I stayed alone for almost 20 years because of my "size." I'd rather be alone than humiliated.

    • Are you I'll? Anno_domini no girl would flat out reject you because of that. Just choose falt chested girls maybe your insecurity is what you would have in common?

It's like the bigger boobs draw attention away from her facial flaws.

  • Despite some claims on here that say that large breasts are less sensitive to stimulation, there is absolute no science to back that up, on natural breasts that is, and those claims are utterly ridiculous and absurd, and unfortunately often come from women with small breasts because they feel threatened by woman with larger breasts, because society tells them to so its really not their fault. Same as some claims that smaller breast have less area so less nerves, they have less sensation, also false because its all relative. Breast size has no relation to physical sensation.
Men are biologically attracted to larger breasts, because of the greater capacity to feed a child, and a well fed child is more likely to survive to adulthood and pass on the genetics. Same as how men are attracted to women with wider hips, less complications during childbirth. But that does not mean every guy prefers that. That's where psychology comes in and changes things up. I think that some men (and woman) prefer large breasts, and some prefer smaller. This could come from a variety of reasons, trauma, social pressures, escaping the mainstream, equality, etc.
For larger breasts having more pleasure, this is the same to them being less sensitive, there is no scientific evidence to back it up. There could be psychological reasons to why, for example if a woman is insecure about her breast size, this could distract her from pleasure, whereas if she is confident in her breast size she could already be closer to a euphoric state, and intensifying her pleasure and/or arousal. No one can really say because they have never had small breasts and then naturally had large breast, during a time of sexual activity without any outside biases because no one can conduct a study on themselves without biases or be a part of a study of this nature and have no biases.

I think all boob shaming is a problem. Having large breasts myself, I am often shamed by other woman, many of which assume that I believe that I am superior because I have large breasts and they don't, which is false. And woman with small breasts are told that they are not as much of a woman by society, also false. With where we are in society, evolutionary and biologically, breast size shouldn't matter, because breasts are no longer explicitly necessary to feeding a child. So it's just a vanity thing now. STOP BODY SHAMING.

    • Love your opinions... I agree ;-)

  • "If both sexes are being completely honest with each other.."

This made me laugh. Quite loudly.

  • Well I prefer smaller breasts but again size doesn't really matter when it comes to chemistry, it's the person on the whole that matters :)

  • They really don't.
It's actually been shown in a study that larger breasts can actually be less sensitive as far as nipple stimulation.
Maybe for a guy or lesbian woman who is really into breasts, it can be a mental thing that makes the experience for pleasurable, but generally as far as physical pleasure, it doesn't impact pleasure.

  • I'd say in real life, most men (FROM MY EXPERIENCES) if not all men, prefer larger breasts, but if they're desperate enough will settle for a girl who's got small boobs.

My ex told me that it didn't matter but then all his exes were packing D+cups. And he did tell me how much he loved his exes big boobs because they were not saggy and they were big and he could suck on them for hours. It was my fault for asking him though if it really mattered to him or not. I asked him how he felt about mine, he said he liked mine but loved hers. That hurt. But I prefer truth.
It made sense that I practically had to beg him to play with mine.

I guess it sucks that bigger boobs get more attention, I don't really want a boob job other than I would like for my man to give my body the attention like that. I want him to lust for me like that. But it's pointless and I'd rather be alone than change my body for a man.

    • This is depressing to read.

    • I'm like the mirror image of you regarding my size, but I chose to stay alone for almost 20 years...

  • I don't think it matters. It all depends on who they are attached to. I think bigger breasts get more attention since they are more obvious (more cleavege and harder to hide with clothes) which is why they are "preffered" once you move away from that point I don't think to many care. As for the penis size question all those women reported above average size prefferences. Studies have actually shown that women tend to exaggerate penis size dependent on the experience (positive is correlated to bigger negative to smaller hence why so many of those women where talking as if seven inches was normal when in fact that would be an inch to an inch and a half larger then the average) Men also tend to add an additional inch or so when self reporting. Basicly its not actually a good determinint of their opinions due to personal bias.

  • I doubt they really do...
    Only to a boob guy.

  • There's a reason why we get boner which increases our size and the blood flow which increases their size by 25%. Nature knows everything.

Generally, it is not mandatory that it'll matter because half of the times I had sex, I didn't even touch them. Can't tell about women but for guys, it depends from person to person.

Yes. Bigger size makes you more attractive. That's a fact unless it's overwhelming.

  • I'm a big breasted girl and I don't think I have more sexual pleasure than someone flatter chested. However, big breast and hips do signify fertility so maybe that is were this whole thing comes from

    • I've heard it said that bigger breasted women get less stimulation because the nipples and flesh are more stretched, but I don't really know.

    • @ManOnFire you might have to be rocking some j cups or something.

    • Yeah, I didn't think you were that big.

  • "women with larger breasts actually enjoy sex more, when compared to their smaller-breasted brethren."
    Sisters. It's sisters.

  • i think when we say size doesn't matter, some of us don't have a preference and really think it doesn't matter, and some of the others have a preference but don't think it matters with the grand amount of people on the planet anyway, so you'll find someone with a different preference to you, so as a race, size doesn't matter.

    Just a thought

  • I have small breasts and while I wish they were bigger I've loved sex regardless and don't think my chest size has anything to do with it.

  • I'm a breast man, so I love big boobs and am obsessed with breast sex (tittyfucking), so it does matter to me on that end. But as far as it making a girl better in bed? No, it doesn't really matter. However, I've heard it said that women with bigger breasts don't get as much stimulation to them as girls with smaller ones because the mass is so stretched, but I don't really know.

On the matter of size mattering to women when it comes to penis size? Yeah, I still think most are lying when they say it doesn't matter because you have a lot of white girls who want sex with black men because they hear that our triggers are bigger, and one reason black women stick with is is for this reason. I also read in some magazine once that women who've had sex with bigger penises in the past experience longings for the mind blowing sex a bigger cock gave. May or may not be true. And then I've had some females tell me outright that they do like big, thick "cock." So yes, I definitely think size does matter to women, the difference is that guys get called shallow for liking and womanting women with big breasts, but when women want bigger penises they typically don't get ridiculed for that.

  • While bigger boobs might or might not increase sexual experience, they will certainly attract more stares from the men. Probably cause more traffic accidents and turning the feeble minds of men into stone.

  • It can definitely enhance pleasure but it should be the only thing that determines it.

  • Let's face it, no matter what we say, from a guy's perspective larger breasts open up possibilities (i. e. tittyfucking) that just can't happen with mosquito bite A-cup breasts, not to mention they're softer, more fun to bounce around, and there's a bit more surface area to explore. But you only need sufficiently sized breasts to do most of those things anyway, and for the most part B cups are more than enough.

Regardless though the breasts are not the only wonderful thing on a woman's body.

  • There are some sexual things you can only do with boobs of a certain size or above, and some you can only do with small boobs. Meh. Just enjoy yourself and stop worrying about it.

  • I don't think it makes a difference.

  • I actually like average breasts.

    • YEEESSSSS me too
