  • Nope. Trans women are not women, hence the "trans" prefix.

They can "feel" female but they patently ARE NOT. They don't have female reproductive systems, bone structure, or genuine female hormones. They don't menstruate and they can't get pregnant. Drugs and cosmetic surgery can't change that.

They are basically ultra-effeminate gay men.

I strongly object to allowing them access to women's only facilities unless they have completely medically transitioned. And I strongly oppose allowing them, under any circumstances, to compete in women's-only athletics. It should also be illegal for people who under 18 years old to transition. That includes taking puberty blockers or hormones.

I don't have any problem with trans-women, per se. I am friends with a trans-woman named Robin who decided to fully transition later in life. She doesn't make a very attractive women, but so what? He was married before he decided to transition and his wife supported his decision. They are still married and are really good people. Robin just wants to live her life and isn't on any campaign to promote transgenderism. I treat her like a female friend.

I'm friends with a trans-man, too. He looks like a short guy but is a great person.

I have don't have any problem with trans people. But I don't get involved with new acquaintances who have preferred pronouns. I just walk away.

I have LGBT friends and I support their rights, but I'm not part of that community. And I have to say that I've become ambivalent to the LGBTQ+ agenda that is being pushed so strongly. It's making me less supportive.

  • No. A woman is a person who was born with XX chromosomes and has a uterus and vagina.

A transwoman is a man who feels like he is a woman, and in most cases dresses, and sometimes has his body altered, to APPEAR more like a woman, but a man can't ever become a woman.

    It's delusional to believe otherwise.

That doesn't mean that trans people shouldn't be respected as people, or that they shouldn't be able to dress as they wish, or even alter their own bodies once they reach adulthood, but they will never be the opposite sex biologically, no matter what hormones they take or what surgeries they have.

This is pure medical science - feelings are irrelevant.

    • Or could be a womans mind is trapped in a males body?

    • @Paul09 Still a male's body. Will always be a male's body, even if it is altered to appear more female.

    • But humans are not simply biology, Oracle. We are complex beings influenced in all manners and ways. Our hormones from the mother flood the body of the baby in utero. Most babies, 98 percent of them, end up all male and all female. A tiny percentage are hermaphroditic. Others, because of unknown biological influences, that 2 percent, are transgender. 15 percent are homosexual. Again, sexual orientation is biological. There is no need for everyone to reproduce to keep the population stable or increasing slightly. And feelings are everything. Come on!!! Your sense of yourself, who you are, are all FEELINGS! Just because you don't understand the feelings of someone who is very different from you, you don't discount their feelings. It's like saying someone's religion is wrong. No, it's different and you have to respect those differences. I understand that you can't create a PHYSICAL WOMAN from a physical man. But if the psychological "woman" is there, that is what matters. Now, adjusting to that reality is an incredible difficulty in a society that is not very accepting of difference. But we've come a long way since the 1950s and Renee' Richards the trans tennis star. There are issues to resolve about sports. But other than that, trans people deserve acceptance and compassion, just as we all do. And we ALL HAVE DIFFERENCES: some are visible, some are internal, that are just as complicated as sexual orientation and psychological orientation.

  • Transwomen aren't BIOLOGICAL females. But they are emotional and psychological females as far as they are concerned. It's similar to being gay. People know WHO and what they are from very young ages, in general. This seems to be true for transgender people also, all 2 percent of the population who are trans.

But it's difficult to be different from the majority, which is why many people suppress their natural feelings and proclivities. We should support people being their true selves. Even if it makes us uncomfortable and we have no experience of the different.

Broadening your outlook is always best and leads to understanding and compassion.

    • No, it is significantly less than 1% of the population in the US. The number is higher - 1.4% - for those age 13-17, but the overall percentage is not increasing over time. This suggests that many of the young people who identify as transgender will not identify when they get older. Their identification at an early age may simply reflect the unique societal pressures at that age, sexual confusion, and a means of escaping the pressures that would be experienced by teens who have normal sexual interests.

      williamsinstitute.law.ucla.edu/.../

    • @OlderAndWiser All the information I've read is 2 percent average. And of course the number is higher the younger people are because they don't know and want to escape sexual pressure. I hung out with gay men for. years to escape being hit on by unwelcome men in college. Had a lot less sex but a lot more fun. People thought I was a lesbian. Course, I dress in the uniform, but I like board shorts and T shirts. and I do a lot of yard work and gardening, so the uniform is practical. I dress up well!!! The problem with the stat as cited from that 2016 survey is that many trans people do not identify as trans and would not even answer a survey that asked them IF they were trans. The definition of transgender is muddy. Some people who crossdress call themselves transgender. Others do not. Whereas some trans people live as their biological sex but wish they were the opposite sex. Trans people who've had sex reassignment surgery often no longer consider themselves transgender. They tick the sex box they've been reassigned to. Many trans people are in the closet due to fear of reprisals: socially, religiously or physical victimization. This is the same problem that occurred with gay people 50 years ago. The guy who handed out those stats admitted that they aren't terribly accurate because of all these factors.

I can’t stand those freaks. I can’t stand Pride Parades and Pride Month. I feel like all of this nonsense was pushed by the Illuminati. By our Demonic Government

I watched how a young female was getting gender reassignment surgery. I watched how they destroyed her female anatomy!!!
It broke my heart and brought tears to my eyes.
This whole LGBTQRSTUV movement is pure insanity and immorality. They all depraved!!!
    They destroyed her vagina!

I’m never having kids. Because of This! I’m never having kids! I wouldn’t dare put my child into a school where GAY PRIDE is a thing.

    • I would never bring my child into a world were Biological Males want to be females and act like females. And biological females want be males. It’s all upside down backwards and wrong! And if anyone think otherwise, they’re a brainwashed puppet. Sheeplike. Bot 🤖

    • Absolutely love your option, other than the having no kids part. If you don't have kids to pass on your Ideals then they will keep winning. Homeschooling is an option, yes its more work, but its how it should be when schools don't teach what you want to your kids.

  • Yes they are.

  • Yes, trans women are women who were assigned a different gender at birth.

Gender is in the brain. Talk to actual trans people and you'll have no doubt that their actual gender is what they tell you. Gender experience is real for everyone.

Cis people will experience their gender, it's not just something that they see in the mirror. The same is true for trans people. I know I'm a man for sure. And I would still know that I'm a men even if I didn't know what my own body looked like, because it's part of my own gender experience, in my brain.

  • nooope

  • What I think doesn't matter, they can do what they want and I'll still treat them as human beings.

  • I will always respect another person and call them whatever name/pronouns they prefer. If they want to present as a man/woman I’ll treat them accordingly however they are still biologically whatever gender they were born as. A trans-woman is not the same as a biological woman and no matter the changes they make will never be the same as a woman is and that is ok

  • No more than a wolf is a sheep wearing sheep's clothing.

  • Nope. You got a pp, you a man. You got a vv, you a woman. Nuff said.

    • Men without a penis and balls and surgery that gives them a vagina and female hormones takes their manhood away, so they are not really a female but they are not male either.

    • @jengeorge26 🤦🏻‍♂️ oh jeez

    • If not a male or female, Just a sissy wearing bra and panties

  • They objectively and quite literally are not women.
They are either men, are they are "transwomen," which is just a man that somewhat kind of (but not really) looks female.

Women are adult females who have two X chromosomes and a functioning female reproductive system (or previously had one). Someone born with a penis is male.

I seriously hate that we live in a society where reality is ignored. No one is saying transwomen can't be trans, but they are not women in the slightest.

  • yea i dont care

  • It's really simple. A man has an X and a Y chromosome in every gene. A woman has two X chromosomes in every gene. You can have all the surgery you want, and you can change your plumbing artificially if you want, and take all the hormone shots you want. It doesn't change your genetic makeup! That is something you can't change. You can't change your age, and you can't change your gender, really. As a trans woman, can you give birth to a baby and nurse the baby? I rest my case.

  • Yes? It's in the name?

Don't give me that XX XY crap. I'm glad u passed ur high school bio class but advanced bio would beg to differ.

    • Please share what advanced bio has to say

    • Admittedly I don't know much cus I'm not a biologist. My friend who is broke it down like this: Even if gender and sex where the same, chromosomes don't always determine sex. Other factors from environment to coding accidents can mess with sex. Basing the sex of someone by chromosomes ignores 1.7% of the population (intersex people witch by the way are more than red heads). My opinion on all this is we shouldn't obsess over someone's identity. It really doesn't matter in comparison to actual problems like the wealth gap that's killing the economy or climate change. Don't be the problem.

    • Your biologist friend is correct.

  • No its insulting to real women like myself that a man is trying to claim there a women and not know what a women is nor how to act like one women don't act flamboyant

  • no... because someone thinks they are a woman doesn't make them a woman.

a woman is a woman physically and emotionally and hormonally.

  • Nope.

  • Yes.

  • No, they are transwomen, not a real women.

  • No I don't, but they would say "what difference is it to me what you think?"

    And they would be right.

  • 100% trans women are real women

  • No absolutely not, and never, ever will be either... Period.

  • No, but if they blatently present female i am willing to use female pronouns.
