i don't think it has to be true all the time. I have two-three close guy friends, I'm sure hey can be considered as bestfriends and I can tell you that they do not hav the intention to be laid with me. Yes, we can be just friends, we're lowkey like siblings. i know people will say that it's just that i don't about it yet.
But guys this is real, people can exist as just friends from opposite genders without the intention to screw the other one.

I don't have a close male friend but the ones I do have, no I doubt it. They have a very different type than what I look like plus I can just tell that I'm not into them and they're not into me. I have had male friends who were attracted to me though. And I've had a male friend who was gay so... Yeah.
