Does bad grammar while sexting kills your mood?

I can let go small mistakes. That doesn't bother me. But when his sentence is so much out of place it just turns me off.

Also when you both are really in the mood and you get a long text from him/her you get really excited but as you start reading it you find it hard to understand most of it because of wrong spellings and it just makes you sad 😂😂

Superb Opinion

  • One of the biggest problems is not so much bad grammar but bad imagination and often no real life experiences to put into words.

Words should paint a scene, paint a feeling and then build on it.

it needs to flow between two people, often both typing the same thing at same time.

  • My biggest pet peeve isn't the grammar, but the abbreviations. They are meant to save time or effort, but they don't. Now I have to Google the abbreviation.

But I'm guilty of voice dictating, but never proofreading before hitting the send. My worst example wasn't a sext, but a text I sent to my mom. I was so embarrassed.

  • Naw. Because they aren't writing a book, or college paper.
They typing wit one hand and all worked up in the moment.
So yeah nobody is going to check their grammar.
I mean tbh putting the effort in to check your own grammar for each text will put anybody out the mood.
So it becomes why even do it

    • Grammar should kind of become something you dont need to concentrate to have. Typos are more understandable since its one hand typing lol

Most Helpful Guy

  • Not really. Receiving an “exciting text” with bad grammar shows that their intelligence is slightly outshined by their arousal, and that’s attractive to me. It shows desperation and excitement for the conversation.

  • Lol yeah if it was for everything prob would

  • Sexting itself would kill the mood!

  • If the thoughts are clear then bad grammar does not bother the experience. It is when the grammar makes it difficult to understand the thoughts that the experience is harmed.

  • Total boner killer

  • Your semicolon ruined my orgasm.

    • That was funny😂

  • Poor spelling and punctuation don't help things either.

  • Nope as I accept it can be hard to type with 1 hand

  • Probably it would.

  • As you know, you might be doing it one-handed. You're trying to get out your sentence as soon as possible so it happens

  • Unfortunately yes...

  • Ugh it depends

  • It would kill it for me, from anybody, guy or girl. That tell you a lot right there.

  • To some extent it does. So do emoticons and lazy texting abbreviations.

  • If you can concentrate of proper grammar while you are sexting you are not doing it right.

  • It's not a problem for me what someone types in the heat of the moment. I usually understand what they meant.

  • Oh goodness me, it's such a turn-off! But I don't really sext so that's okay.

  • Yes, I think that would pull most people out of the mood. At least it seems so to me

  • Sometimes. I know I make mistakes with swipe and don’t catch it.

  • NO, as long as i can understand it..
