For $5million would you claim a man raped or sexually assaulted you?

Was discussing after drinks with my college pals, seems most of us would.

  • This was not a claim of rape for $5,000,000. It doesn't work that way.

    1. This was not a false accusation.
    2. E. Jean Carroll did not sue for $5,000,000.
    3. The JURY - which consisted of 6 men and 3 women - decided UNANIMOUSLY the verdicts and how much E. Jean Carroll should get (below). THEY decided it was $5,000,000.
    4. The bulk of the money she was awarded was not because of the sexual assault; it was because of his defamation. And, since he is now again defaming her, she is about to sue again just like I predicted.

As you will see below, she was awarded $2,020,000 for the sexual assault and $2,980,000 for his defamation of her.

Meanwhile, as far as you and your college girlfriends are concerned, perhaps you all ought to have a group watch of the 2009 movie "The Box". You might then realize the old adage: "Be careful what you wish for. You just might get it."

  • Nope, but I'm not a bat shit crazy sexual deviant cabal member with a lose grip on reality and a weekend pass to Epstein's Island... She thinks rape is sexy after all. She probably thinks she promoting his positive traits by claiming he raped her. To her rape is like a shiny new coat of paint on a fancy automobile. Rape is so appealing to her, she's about to jump Anderson Cooper's bones out of excitement...

  • No, I wouldn't. That's a pretty heavy thing to lay on somebody if he's innocent. I have a guy friend who was falsely accused of rape by one of his exes after she failed to blackmail him, the accusation RUINED his life.

  • As someone who has been raped to even consider this is absolutely F'd up and those who lie about being raped should be thrown in prison for a long time. Don't go ruining an innocent persons life.

  • When women falsely accuse of rape or assault, not only are they destroying someone else's life and putting themself at risk of legal liability for a major counter suit in the tens of millions, but they are also making a mockery and trivializing situations where women truly have been raped and assaulted! This is pure evil!

  • I would choose an overall scummy guy and I would try to pick someone who has actually done this, but was not told on.

  • Are you kidding? I would punch a baby in the face for 5 million dollars.

  • I don't think anyone knows how they will react to a large money offer until it really happens. I would like to believe that very few people would say yes to this, but there is no way to know

  • No, absolutely not.

  • They already kind of do this when you have these women who want to engage in slutty behavior but don't want to be labeled one. So when they see a guy they like and want to fick, they put up they're shields and and say stuff like, I don't usually do this kind of thing. When plausible disability goes out the window though because let's face it, young guys share every sexual detail with they're friends, the womans reputation at risk, and I've seen it multiple times where she comes forward with false allegations

    • Really just hurts the woman who actually experience this unfortunate situation

  • Absolutely not.

  • probly most accusers say it for less money. it ruins credibility of real victims.

  • No that’s disgusting to ruin someone’s life… also….. Being arrested for making a false allegation and being sued for defamation. You might be the one whose down 5 million sitting in jail

  • You can't, as the case needs to stand in court for you to get anything - even an out of court settlement.

Plus, you would be countersued for 6-10 million, if the accusation was proven to be false.

You need better informed friends, if this is the sort of shit you're discussing.

  • Hey! 12%. Wouud you murder someone for $5million? Yes, you would.

    • I know people who put their parents into homes so they could steal their house and wealth

    • I have seen (but not done) that.

    • A neighbour of mine after his sister and her husband died in a car crash being the sole custodian of their only daughter along with his wife tried to get her locked up in an a mental hospital permanently so they could steal her inheritance. They didn't succeed but they did try.

  • It is pretty likely I think.

  • No, I have a conscience and a brain!!
I hope he sues the piss out of her for defamation!!

  • Yes, and it was Joe biden. He sniffed me too.

  • For 5 million I would leave women like this alone in some Forrest, tied up into a tree naked, with some winky emoji painted on her left tit.

    • In the process you can pee and poo on yourself.

  • I wouldn't because it's against the law to wrongfully accuse someone of a crime that they didn't commit

  • All money is not good money

  • I do think something might have happened, but it is just as likely it was consensual and then he rejected her when she wanted a commitment. But civil is preponderance of evidence, so if the jury believes one side 1/10% more than the other that side wins. That they found no evidence of rape yet said there was a sexual assault makes me think that the award is because the jury hated Trump, as if she was untrustworthy on the rape why trust her on the other?

  • No, because perjury is a crime and you can go to jail. Which is why Trump didn't testify.

  • That goes against my values. In fact, I wouldn't do ANYTHING for money.

    • Are you umeployed?

    • I don't work just for the money.
