Most guys are decent when it comes to making a female feel ok about an embarrassing situation.
I would be okay with it. You are female. You have periods.
It's happened with me a few times. Not a big deal to me but I often wonder if my one girlfriend would trick me into having period sex with her. I found that most of my girlfriends would get EXTREMELY horny around their period. Some would beg me for sex but I just couldn't do it, that's why I wonder if I was tricked a few times.
As far as I know, ALL girls get horny just before their periods! It's their most fertile time of the month and their body is telling them, "FUCK ME NOW SO I CAN MAKE A BABY!!".
