How can I buy this without my parents knowing? Where can I hide it?

I turn 18 in March. I am getting Amazon gift cards for Christmas. I want to buy a thrusting dildo, a suction tongue vibrator for my clit, and some lube. I will also be buying other things so they all come in one big box. All orders are fulfilled by Amazon and shipped from Amazon. Where would be a good discreet place to hide these from my parents? My room has no good hiding spots.

Speaking from my own personal experience and perspective, if you are turning eighteen, then you are technically an adult and you don’t need to hide what you’re buying from your parents. If you feel shame, embarrassment, or guilt for what you’re about to purchase, then, again from my perspective, you should not purchase such items, as you have not developed the emotional and mental maturity to cope with having and using such items with your parents knowing about it.

Granted, there are those who will argue, it is your private actions and you have a right to your privacy, and the fact you’re still living under your parent’s roof and authority is beside the point, as you have a right to do what you want, without their knowledge or possible criticism.

Unfortunately, I’m also of the opinion and mind with the saying, “if you don’t want someone to know something, then perhaps you shouldn’t do it.” The point being is that if you feel you don’t want your parents to know you are experimenting with your sexuality, and you’re still living in their home, then you might consider waiting until you are out on your own, in your own space, and then you can do whatever you want without having to worry about your parents discovering what you’re doing or having to hide these items from them.

Sometimes, just because you may have a right to do something, or a right to privacy, or whatever the topic or action may be, doesn’t always mean, now is the right time and place to be doing them. Just because you can do something, doesn’t mean you should, and if you’re parents are unable to accept the fact you’re an adult now or if you can’t deal with the notion of embracing your sexuality regardless of who knows what you’re doing, then perhaps now is not the time and place. That’s my bottom line.

Umm, maybe get your own place first if you are that worried/embarrassed about it? Trust me, they won't have much of a heart attack over smuggled vibrators and dildos. They will just be glad it's not guys or drugs you are sneaking in (which will unavoidably cross their mind if they see you trying to hide something).
