I'm 28 years old and I've never kissed or been physical in anyway, shape or form with someone of the opposite sex and I'm attracted to people of the opposite sex. I'm curious if there are any people out there like me.

  Yeah may 3rd of 2021. So basically nearly a month ago. It was a one night stand, we both mutually agreed upon it would be a casual fun time and we both had no problem with attraction so he picked me up and we booked a hotel for a few hours and we did it. It was a bit awkward at first because it was both our first times but then it started happening, I felt all the nerves in that very moment and i was shy like him then we started getting our clothes off making out, getting on the bed and we were having sex the next thing you know and the pain was so unbelievably awful for awhile and I was screaming till it eased but he was patient and understanding then we switched positions a few times and yeah. There wasn’t really that emotional connection since we were strangers and barley knew each other and met up but I did enjoy it and had a fun time but he was no longer interested after that since he isn’t looking for further more but he told me I’m a great girl and wishes me the best. I used to envision my first time being special and romantic but after realizing how things are in real life and finding that special person takes time and I didn’t wanna wait any longer and I feel like at the end of the day it’s your last person you end up with because it’s rare for the first person you do it with to be in love with them still and stuff but I respect people who wanna wait for marriage or whatever but the first time isn’t all roses and candles for everyone

  I just didn’t find that special person sadly yet and got tired of waiting. I had an emotional abusive ex who also cheated on me the previous year before and I was gonna lose it to him but he killed my love and respect for him, I just stopped having those expectations and I really wanted to experience sex so I figured why not just have a casual time than put all my energy into someone who may not even care about me and I get hurt in the long run, sometimes relationships hurt a lot more especially if you don’t have the right person and many bad experiences. I wanna find the right guy but that’s gonna take time.

  I'm sorry you had to go through the abuse. I kinda get what you're saying.. the reason I haven't tried isn't that there isn't anyone or that I haven't had any opportunities. I'm demi sexual which makes having casual swings very difficult. I also have this need to know someone well before engaging so asking some random person out doesn't work for me.. it can either be someone I've known for a while or at least think I know well.

  If people don't lose their virginity in their teens, it's an almost for sure guarantee they will lose it in the beginning of their 20s, historically, people become more in the extreme minority if they have not had sex by age 25

  What do you mean? I’m kind of lost in your logic. Sex is between two people. It wasn’t something he “did to” me, or I “did to” him. It was something we “did” together.
