"Men are always horny..."?

I'm honestly bothered by this.. by always reading this, it makes me think of men as whiny little girls who can't control their penises. this is literally their excuse for everything: "boohoo, I was just horny" "a man will be a man" "it's in my biology" boohoo, get a life. I think we women, understand how horny you are by now. but it's annoying. How can we women be in a committed relationship and feel comfortable with you if your always horny? Or if your mind is wandering out all the time while you're with us.. or if we know you're having sexual thoughts about that hot chick at the beach? is that all you're concerned about? can you not censor your thoughts/penis? I just feel like it's too much sometimes and we just have to "accept it" doesn't your over horniness load always lead to you cheating? Or how can you even be in a relationship? im genuinely wondering, not mocking men. because you guys make it seem like you're dogs who have 0 control..

  • Why the hell aren't we allowed to be horny- what's wrong with being horny? Why CAN'T you women be in a committed relationship and feel comfortable with a man who has an active sex drive- why do you have to be so insecure as to believe that the mind of every horny person will automatically wander all the time, and that anyone who's horny will automatically have sexual thoughts about anyone and everyone in their vicinity? Is that all you're concerned about? You, along with the majority of women may be hypergamous by nature, but we men aren't. We don't habitually compare our partners to everyone else around us and think, 'oh, that person's hotter/wealthier/more famous than the person I'm with, I should totally get an upgrade shack up with them instead'- only women think that way. And if we have to accept your nature, then you have to accept ours as well, and acknowledge that the vast majority of us can overcome it and control our baser emotional urges- to a far greater extent than women can, might I add. We DO control it, a hell of a lot better that you lot do. We do censor our thoughts- but why the hell should we have to? What gives you the right to be thought-police- why do you feel the burning need to control every thought than men think, and to erase all traces of his independence and free will? We're humans, and we control OURSELVES. We're NOT dogs, and no matter how much you women want to control us, own us, put us on leashes and breed us like studs, you have no right to do so.

  • Guys who say things like that think that they have the authority to represent and speak for all other guys out there. I'm also bothered when other guys spew out crap like that. That's just nonsense. I saw another question that goes like "Guy are horny 24/7 yadda yadda." No, YOU are horny 24/7. Other guys aren't.

    Most guys I know (even as younger dudes) love sex, but also have many other interests and thoughts. Men have written some of the best novels, created technologies, explored philosophy, made music and art, built bridges and skyscrapers, dreamed up government and economic policies and sports.

    If they were all obsessed with their penis 24/7, none of that would've happened.

  • If that's a guys excuse for cheating, that's a pretty weak one. I actually like that my guy is as horny as he is, but he directs it at me. Any other answer and he shouldn't be in a relationship. More importantly, his mate shouldn't LET him stay in a relationship with her.

If we are in a committed relationship we want sex with our SO because we love her, value her, and desire her above any other - otherwise why be in the relationship?   • First, this is only true of teenage boys. Secondly, it is truly out of their control how much they desire sex. I bet you would NEVER criticize a woman who said she was always hungry, but you feel free to criticize boys because they have a different "hunger." That's very hypocritical of you. Lastly, having a desire and acting on it are two different things. The greater the desire, the harder it is to resist. That doesn't mean it can't be done. Society denigrates boys for having normal biological desires, but salutes girls for theirs. That's wrong and unfair, and you are perpetuating that unfairness.

  • Honestly it's not true. There are some guys who are celibate, others who are happy with sex only a few times a week. In some relationships the woman has a higher sex drive then the man (just search here for a few examples)

  • It's in our DNA. We've evolved over time with the biological need to have sex with as many women as possible to ensure the survival of the human race. Women are embedded with the biological need to settle down and raise the many children the fleeting men leave her to take care of while he moves on to the next woman. It worked for 99.9% of the existance of our species, and we haven't had enough time to stamp it out yet. It's why women look for relationships, and men look for sex. Neither is any more "wrong" or "right" than the other. But society shames men's natural horniness because our modern society requires men to settle down.
