Naked around friends?

Really, I think it's an unspoken agreement/finding within the respective group. Every social circle "operates" differently, a dynamic develops naturally based on relations and a becomes sign of how comfortable you are with one another. The fact that you're a group of girls might be a reason for your contentment as guys generally tend to make homophobic comments and are afraid to be viewed in a way that puts them in a homosexual light. It's a dilemma, because in locker rooms guys are naked and some make jokes about the other guys' junk and I don't know what. It seems chill. Girls are either much more accepting or well, comfortable or much more judgmental and insecure. And yet, as I'm writing this, I doubt my words, because it seems like I'm listing outdated stereotypes. I don't know, clearly, this is the POV of a girl, and this is how I'm assuming it GENERALLY plays out. In the end, I suppose it might be irrelevant to your question which is: Are other groups of friends comfortable enough to be naked and 'intimate' around each other? And the answer is yes, very dependent on the dynamic of the respective group, this is normal and, in my opinion, healthy. We're much too scared by nudity nowadays. Body image is too big a deal, and much more about perfection than it should be. We were born naked, so we shouldn't be so afraid to embrace our own skin. xx

I guess it helps that I chose a non-homophobic friend group, but nudity was never an issue for us. I whole-heartedly agree that we are way to scared by nudity nowadays. I think some exposure to more nudity might actually help with body image. I know it did for me!

I never even Liked Showering in Gym Class among my Friends, @hannah713.
However, I don't Mind getting Naked with Dates or Mates.
Other than that, unless it's a Sibling or even My Mom, I am Not into Letting it all Hang out Around... Anyone.

I have no shame in being nude , its not like you haven't already seen a man nude. lol
I was in the military and into to the gym , you get used to it
I've even seen a couple of my male cousins nude , nothing to hide.
No shame in being nude , I'm perfectly comfortable in my skin

If I workout a lot, I need to shower, there will be other guys in the shower.. so yeah, whatever... I just want to be clean and don't really care whether they are naked or not. I find people a bit weird who find that weird. It's almost as though they are gay and are trying to hide it.

I do this all of the time. With friends of both genders. Nudity is not an issue for me and I applaud you for not being ashamed to bare all in front of your friends!

Speak for yourself. I had no problem undressing in front of dorm mate. It's way more convenient that way and I preferred to sleep nude.

My friends have never seen me naked. I never undress in front of others. I never allow anybody to have shower with me. But I can shave my facial hair and I don't mind if anybody sees me doing that.
