I have Tesla solar and a TESLA storage battery in the garage mounted on the wall that will power the whole house for about 24 hours. I got sick and tired of the power outages here through EDISON and elected to get the storage battery even though it was very costly. I GUESS it was worth it, but it is a long term debt kind of thing.

Yeah it is. The power here in Huntington Beach was going out about once a month, and I was sick of being without power for hours on end. Edison finally started doing some in-depth work on the reasons for the outages and we are now relatively secure with power. That is why I did it. Even now within the last six months we have had some brief power outages. The solar without the powerwall would have been about HALF of what I paid, but still if we have some catastrophic happening, I will still have power here.

... You know, the reason I mentioned that is because I'm still annoyed about the power going out here a few weeks ago; CPAP makes it an unambiguous necessity. I'm not sure why I didn't mention that. But gratitude is the kind of emotion that never really goes astray, so I guess it stands on its own.
