  • My parents never had such thing on their door. But I'd sometimes hear the bed creaking from downstairs, so I knew to never go up there or bother. But it was usually nighttime so it's ok. I could keep myself occupied with anything.

    • @pbandj_nerd so creaking bed sound say don't disturb? hehe

    • When I was a teen I at first thought something was wrong but then I had to take time to think about like why the bed would be creaking. Then I got it like a lit lightbulb and I'm like "Ok, no need to worry, they're fine, just don't go up there." lol

    • @pbandj_nerd lol that does sound funny as you wrote

  • A lock on the door would make more sense.

  • No , never used a sign , but things always worked out anyhow.

  • No, but did the ol sock on the doorknob in college.

  • Not a parent, however my parents would tell me my brother n sister to go out n play etc and not come back until 4pm etc. it was a tad embarrassing popping back with a friend and the floor is nearly coming through from them.

  • what? 😦 you really want your kids knowing when you're fucking? my parents would just do this nifty thing where they locked the door 😭

  • A lock suffices.

  • Why a sign? Just leave the door open and everyone will hear that you are busy.

    • @supercutebutt 😂😂😊😊

    • "Leave the door open" that's like let them watch as well

    • @supercutebutt spot on... lol

  • Our sign said..."If you hear the bed squeaking, don't come a peeking" 😂😂😂😂

  • No, we had a more simple rule. When Mom and Dad's bedroom door is closed, do not enter without knocking first... and wait for Mom or Dad to open the door.

  • I assume your kids are in therapy?

That's not judgement - I'm absolutely certain my son will need it when he's old enough...

  • No only one of our kids is old enough to accidentally wander in but we check in on them beforehand

  • No never as I haven’t been a parent I plan to be a fur baby mother to dogs 🥺❤️

    • lol what did your parents do?

    • @bananathunder what do you mean?

    • since you're not a parent. What did your parents do? Did they have a sign?

  • I'm just guessing but, I think what my parents did was to send us to grandma's house (about 4 miles away) they didn't have to worry about any of that until they fucked for my youngest ex-sister because my brother & I were too young to for them to worry about by the time they were fucking for my 1st ex-sister.

  • If I put one of those signs on the door they would for sure come in.

  • lol no sign but we do have a deadbolt on our bedroom door. Was a solution I came up with because when the kids were little my wife would often worry about them walking in :)

  • neither my parents did that n nor do i do it

    • So u guys keep door open?

    • @IloveWinters lol kind of

  • My parents used to just tell me and my siblings beforehand lol

    • hahaha

    • Y'all must have been a very open family. I'd like to ask a few questions. If that is ok, please pm me.

  • Lol that's amazing. I don't have kids, but I was seeing a woman that had 15 year old daughter. She didn't put any signs up on the door but she wouldn't have sex in the house if she was in the house.

  • No. I've never even thought of that.
