TRIGGER WARNING: The Bible says that ..."the truth shall make you free" ~John 8:32. But it can also trigger the greatest of negative emotions for those that do not want to believe the truth and prefer to stay hidden behind antiquated religious dogma.
If you are a Christian, or other type of religious person, be aware that this post may trigger you in ways you never thought imaginable.
Before subjecting yourself to unnecessary psychological trauma, you may want to move on to another post ...remember, you have been warned ...and no, I am not kidding!

HYPOCRISY AT IT'S FINEST
First of all, this is not an anti-Christian post, quite the contrary. I am a Christian and I have Christian friends. I have a girlfriend whose father is a pastor. Not all Christians think, or believe, the same way and I have a unique take on it. But, before I go there, I want to mention a post I saw recently from a blue anon about praying. Obviously, many replies were coming from Christians.
I do not pray every day but, when someone is in need, I will ask God to help them so I wanted to see what this blue anon and those responding had to say about it.

The first thing that jumped out at me was at least 4 members on the post, most likely Christians, had blocked me. I know Christians will block me all the time because many posts I submit are in the Sexuality Category, so since I am considered 'the greatest among sinners' to them, I am shunned and determined to be of little to no value.
Or they are afraid that they will be embarrassed in front of their other Christian friends to be associated with me due to my inherent sexual nature. And maybe not just Christians, but all those who hold their noses high with assumed moral superiority over all others.

I know this, as I remember the day, just a couple of months ago, that the most popular pink Christian poster on GAG, who everyone knows, blocked me because she did not like one, or more, of my posts even though I had replied positively to many of her posts about God and Christianity, and never negatively.
Here is what Jesus said after being chastised for refusing to shun the sinners around him...
Luke 5:29: Then Levi gave Him a great feast in his own house. And there were a great number of tax collectors and others who sat down with them. 30 And their scribes and the Pharisees complained against His disciples, saying, “Why do You eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?”
31 Jesus answered and said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. 32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”
It is so ironic that many Christians who claim to love those they consider sinners, instead shun them and toss them into the dumpster of life like nothing more than an old pair of worn out tennis shoes when they do not hold to the high moral standards that they alone set just as the scribes and the Pharisees did.
And again in John 3: Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, 4 they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?” 6 This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear.
7 So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” 8 And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. 9 Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?”
11 She said, “No one, Lord.”
And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”

So, are those who call themselves Christians on GAG, that want to block those they consider sinners, themselves without sin? ...just asking.
Now it is I who find myself praying for those who shun me and others, that God will open their eyes to the truth and learn to truly love those they think are sinners again.
Yes, it is ironic, and sad all at the same time, how it ends up being the sinner praying for God to forgive those that want to call themselves Christian, when really they are but sinners themselves.

MY TAKE ON MODERN CHRISTIANITY
THE FIRST DISPENSATION (THE OLD TESTAMENT)
God's creation and rules for living started out as described in the Old Testament. His rules were harsh and those who failed were immediately judged, condemned, punished or put to death swiftly.

THE SECOND DISPENSATION (THE NEW TESTAMENT)
Over time, things changed and God changed the rules and ushered in the New Testament based on repentance and forgiveness. Now in stead of "an eye for an eye" as described in the Old Testament, God taught us to learn to forgive our fellow man or woman for their trespasses against us (not to be taken out of context), but a stark contrast to what was commanded in the First Dispensation.

THE THIRD DISPENSATION ("TODAY'S TESTAMENT")
Now this is going to shock many of you but I believe that we are actually in the midst of another changing of the rules and a new dispensation that I am calling, "Today's Testament", which I believe is the third dispensation, already underway and being written about as we speak.
And here is why ...but remember my warning ...you can still leave this post.
God clearly condemns fornication (sex outside of marriage) and homosexuality (same gender sexuality) in the Old and New Testaments, and for good reason during those time periods.
First, the earth needed to be inhabited, so procreation was necessary. That could not be done in same gender relationships, thus they were forbidden.
Second, it is was and always will be important for a child to have 2 opposite gender parents for many reasons that I will leave to a different myTake. Thus God was opposed to casual sex leaving the women with child and no man to protect and provide for her during pregnancy. Then the man protecting and providing for both of them after as the child developed. And further, a boy child being taught by the man to be a man, or by the woman teaching a female child how to be a woman as she matures, but with a mothers loving nurturing touch along the way for both.
Today, although it is still important that a child have both parents, birth control is now widely available during this more modern time period, allowing casual sex without pregnancy thus the reason for restrictions on fornication (sex without marriage) are gone.
Also, the earth is now very widely populated so the reasons for restrictions against same sex relationships serves no more purpose as well, and has also been lifted.

BUT HOW DOES THIS MANIFEST ITSELF IN TODAY'S WORLD?
In a word, more freedoms. Oppression's have been lifted, mentally, physically and sexually both in and out of the religious church world.

In 'Today's Testament fornication is no longer a sin, but instead is sanctioned as an alternative form of pleasure to be enjoyed without guilt. You can be a Christian and have sex with God's Blessings now, whether heterosexual, Gay or Lesbian ...YES, it's TRUE, even if you are in church leadership!

Our God given sexual nature is now celebrated instead of being shunned by God ...Talk about a PERFECT WORLD! Yes, we are now in the midst of it!

We no longer have to hide and be ashamed of our sexuality ...we can come out from within the closet of guilt and shame!

...am I exaggerating or going too far? ...I don't think so!

The time of hiding from our true erotic nature and the arrival of freedom from sexual oppression is here! ...and why not? ...shouldn't it be?

And now, in this 3rd dispensation, our natural erotic nature is supported by most of the main stream Church's and religions instead of being shunned by it! ...isn't that the way things ought be?

And now if we want to attend a clothing-optional Church like this one in Virginia that are popping up everywhere, or the one in Spain that holds summer swimwear fashion shows, we can!
Wouldn't this increase attendance dramatically in some of the dull and boring dried up churches that are loosing attendance in droves? ...of course, it will.

Religion is no longer tied to the constraints of the antiquated Puritan world era.

Some of you got a laugh from this myTake; some who didn't heed my warning were horrified; other's were thinking 'maybe she's right' or 'wouldn't that be nice' :)
But no matter what, if we are a good person, it is worth considering a world where we can all be who we really are with a belief that God created us to be and do just that ...then, truly, what a Wonderful World this would be! ...you know I'm right!
