  • It is ultimately up to the individual woman to decide how she wants to groom or style her pubic hair, and whether or not she feels comfortable wearing a bathing suit that reveals it. There is no right or wrong way to groom or style pubic hair, and it is a personal choice that should be made based on individual preferences and comfort level.

It is important to remember that women's bodies come in all shapes and sizes, and there is no one "correct" way to present or groom them. It is important to respect and celebrate individual differences and choices, and to avoid shaming or judging others based on their appearance or grooming habits.

If a woman chooses to wear a bathing suit that reveals her pubic hair, it is her choice and should be respected. It is not appropriate to shame or criticize her for her appearance or grooming choices. Similarly, if a woman chooses to groom or style her pubic hair in a certain way, it is her choice and should not be judged or criticized.

Ultimately, the most important thing is to respect and celebrate individual choices and differences, and to avoid shaming or judging others based on their appearance or grooming habits.

  • I think one way or another, you shouldn't have pubes hanging out of your bathing suit (nor have I met a girl who was ok with having her pubes hang out of a bathing suit).

Whether that's a bikini-line shave, a full shave, or some sort of swim suit-shorts thing doesn't really matter. Just don't have tufts hanging out of the side of your bathing suit and you're all good.

  • I think all you need to do is shave bikini lines a day or 2 before you go swimming. As well as trimming your pube bush so it doesn't stick out of your bottoms. But whatever swimsuit you want to wear is completely fine either way.

  • I certainly would not have it hanging out like in option A, it would be one thing if I was going to a nude beach but geez I have never done that, even as a teen I'd shave when going swimming to avoid being embarrassed.

What Girls & Guys Said

  • Would you want a guy exposing his pubes to you? I prefer shaved, but wth that said, it's ultimately up to the individual. I just don't necessarily want to see it.

  • I’m not the type of person who has a hair fetish or anything even close. But I think pubic hair is beautiful on a woman. It’s natural, healthy, and a sign of physical maturity. It wouldn’t bother me if a girl was showing a little on the sides of her bathing suit. It might turn me on to be honest. But letting it be natural either way is a better option than shaving or waxing it. Slip on some shorts so that it can’t be seen if you must. Or maybe a slight slight trim on the very edges but leave the rest natural and thick.

  • I'm surprised by the poll results.
I don't find tumbleweeds protruding from her swim suit attractive at all!

I don't like hair in her groin pits and inner thighs under any circumstances. A woman can do whatever she wants, of course. But I won't find her attractive if she doesn't believe in basic grooming.

She needs to shave her legs and underarms. A fluffy muff can be really cute if isn't allowed to grow out of control.

  • Shave or wax it all off. MHO.

Regardless, no one wants to see your pubes hanging out. YUCK

  • Seeing a bit of underbrush jutting out from the crotch of her bikini is most unappealing!

  • Pubic hair showing can attract attention. How a woman chooses to keep that hidden is her business. Attire that hides it or shaving both work. Of course she can just let it show, but why?

  • Not necessarily. She should do what she wants to do and what makes her feel most comfortable.

  • I hate hair around a woman's vagina. I like for a woman to keep it shaved all the time. I don't mean to be lewd, but it has a lot to do with my opinion on the matter... shaved looks a lot sexier to me and licking skin is a whole lot better than licking hair.

  • No...

    • @MuskratLove Goo. Another thing we agree on. Doesn't offend me in the least. I should live in Europe

    • That was supposed to be ' GOOD'

  • Shave, wax, or laser ALL of off! Pubic hair on both sexes is nasty!

  • if your going to wear something were you could see stuff for sure, it's really inappropriate and gross if you show that in public

  • Yes, if it shows outside of her bathing suit.

  • I personally don't mind it if it's showing, but my girlfriend doesn't like it. She doesn't buy any high cut swimwear, she always makes sure that if she buys a new bathing suit or bikini, it covers all of her bush. She has a full bush but it isn't spreading too much, so in general she will always find something that is wide enough to cover all of it. She doesn't shave or trim specifically for swimming.

  • From my POV, not a big deal. In Newport Beach on summer I saw a girl with pubic hair showing on both sides of her bikini. Well, I looked, but why not? I thought it was erotic, not in bad taste, at all.

  • No woman shaves her vagina. That's the sex and baby hole. Her vulva and even her groin is more correct. I call it her nether region..
I prefer her nether region to be edged and cropped for a suit or ordinary briefs. Hair around the edges looks careless.

  • Just let the pubic hair go wild

  • either shave either wear a shorts.

  • Pubic hair showing is fine

  • It's probably more socially acceptable if she does run a mower through the south 40 but, I don't think I'd raise much of a fuss about it if she didn't. It's just hair.

  • I shave the bikini lines.
