Maybe she has some stuff going on with her. If she never was messy like this before, maybe she's going through depression. No one wants to live like this and if it's just her room that indicates it's a mental thing with her. Not mental like crazy, just some things she might be feeling are coming out in ways like being lazy and messy. I've gone through a phase of depression and I turned into a mess. I didn't take care of myself or my room. My husband showed me he cared about the mess and he cleaned up for me, it was like him taking care of me in a way. After I snapped out of the depression I loved him more and we were stronger. offer to help her clean or do it for her and help her. Send her to the spa or salon for a male over day so she can get her hair cut and feel pretty. Ask her what you can do to help her and talk to her about how she feels about herself lately.
