This myTake isn't weird
Obviously, if I'm doing this myTake, I've got a foot fetish. That means I find female feet attractive and that's all. I know there is a slight stigma attached to fetishes and with the foot fetish being the most common (by all accounts), foot fetishists often seem to be stereotyped as pervy loners. I'll be honest, I'm sure some of us are. But pervy loners are not exclusive to foot fetishists. I have a foot fetish and I am (mostly :P ) a normal guy. I want to get married and raise a family. I want to meet someone I can speak to and connect with. I find many parts of the female body sexy aside from feet. Feet just happen to be one more thing I do find sexy. I don't do anything criminal or weird and would never violate someone's boundaries for my own gratification; something which many guys without foot fetishes can't say.
Plenty of women seem uncomfortable with the subject so I thought I might do a Take explaining the benefits a man's foot fetish could have for his female partner.
NOTE: This all applies to me and the majority of foot fetishists in my experience. Everyone's sexuality is a little different.
1. Foot rubs
Yep, this is the main one. Some women LOVE foot rubs but can't get their partners to do it because they're either too lazy or don't like feet. If your boyfriend has a foot fetish, he will jump through hoops to massage your feet. You can come home, pop off your shoes and most guys with a foot fetish will volunteer to give you a massage for the next hour anyway you like. They'll practice and find ways to make you relax and enjoy your massage so they can do it more often. Your feet basically have their own personal masseuse now.
2. Shoes
At some point most guys will complain that their girlfriend has too many shoes. Guys with a foot fetish however won't complain. Hell, they'll probably offer to pay for half of them. To them (us), the wide variety of women's shoes make women's feet sexier and draw attention to them in the same way that other forms of clothing (e.g. lingerie) do for other parts of the female body. If you go shoe shopping, he will be interested and it's a personal fantasy of mine to go shoe shopping with a girlfriend and she teases me the whole way through. The wide selection of female footwear will catch his interest as much as yours which provides plenty of oppurtunities for fun and you have an excuse for buying more shoes. :P
3. Variety
In long term relationships, sex can get boring and it helps to have options available to freshen things up. A foot fetish means there is one more way to experience sexual pleasure. Obviously, it shouldn't be one sided but if you're looking for another way of turning your man on and he has a foot fetish, you basically have 2 'On' switches to his sex drive on the end of your legs, giving you the chance to bring variety to your sex life and explore new things. Who knows? You might like it.
4. Intimacy
Many men with foot fetishes seem to be secretive with it. Obviously most people don't broadcast the details of their sexuality for the world to hear but even for foot fetishists in relationships, it can be hard to open up about this in case the woman rejects it and believes he is weird. Therefore, if the woman accepts it, it can bring her and her partner much closer. They will have a stonger bond as he will have shared secrets that only she knows of him and have kept it between them. This is guaranteed to make you special in his mind and can lead to a great amount of trust.
5. Pampering!!!
Women generally love to be pampered. Foot fetishes are an oppurtunity for that. Not only will you get foot rubs (see 1.), he will love to get/give you pedicures, foot baths or paint your toe nails for you. He could also buy all this for you as a present and the pedicures could be his present too. ;)
6. Attraction
This means that there is another part of your body that can be attractive to (some) men. Everyone has body parts that they are proud of and some they aren't so proud of. It's natural. I know some women (that I've seen online. I don't really stare at girl's feet irl you'll be glad to hear. ;) ) that look pretty good but have incredibly sexy feet (people disagree on what this means. Some fetishists love toes, some prefer soles. There is a wide variety). That makes them more attractive to me than women who have 'ugly feet' but look great otherwise. It opens up more options as well as meaning there are now more parts of your body that he is attracted to and only you know that. You can tease him in public without anyone else ever knowing by just dangling your foot in his view.
Conclusion
Foot fetishes come in many different forms and, like most forms of human sexuality, they are too unique to just sum up easily. But in my opinion, foot fetishes provide a genuine oppurtunity to bring a couple closer as it offers unique oppurtunities such as those I outlined above. It makes that person unique.
I hope that I will be able to explore my fetish in future with an open minded and mature partner and I will make sure that she reaps the benefits. :)

I never got that. It's your body obviously and you don't have to do anything but I don't get the aversion to body parts you use every day. Compared to other body parts that are often involved in sex, they look great. Let's be honest, penises and vaginas are weird to look at. :P

I like the curve of the instep. I like that the skin is normally soft and curvy. Plus the thought of rubbing them is nice. Though I'd like to give a woman shoulder massages too.

i'm not sure about 'good' fascinating. just fascinating in that their are so many angles on feet - what part of the foot they like, etc. toe cleavage to me is unsightly. i do like foot massages, but i wouldn't want a guy giving me a pedicure.

This is definitely true and I love looking at beautiful feet, however I don't think I am into sucklng them. I don't know. Feet turn me on, but at the same time, I am slightly germaphobic. I am conflicted about this.

Sorry but you say it like almost all these points are exclusive to guys with foot fetishes. A lot of guys who don't have a foot fetish still do all these things. You say it's unique for guys with foot fetishes but that's objectively not true. And not everyone with a foot fetish will. Some like to just lick suck and poor things like syrup all over them and smack them to get themselves off.
