Guys, thigh gap vs thick thighs? What do you really think?

On the Internet this gap thing is a huge deal but in person I've never really heard of it. Most guys around me and claimed to like thicker thighs rather than thinner but what's your opinion?
Thigh gaps are disgusting because it's a sign of emaciation. You know, those with thigh gaps are usually anorexic/bulimic, and it's a result of the pressure of modeling agencies.
