What are your thoughts on the Garrett Foster shooting?

Garrett Foster carried an AK at BLM protests and in an interview he said "I can't use it (his AK) on police because then I'm dead, but if I use it on people who disagree with us, they're too much of a pussy to do anything about it". He said this minutes before a crowd surrounded a car with an Army Sergeant working for uber in it and Garrett Foster approached the car with his AK and raised it up to aim it at his head but then the seargant pulled out his handgun and shot Garrett Foster dead before driving away and calling the police. The sergeant was 100% justified in his use of force and I'm glad that he made an example out of Garrett Foster in that us Texans won't stand there and take it when someone is attempting to end our life and I'm glad that Garrett Foster didn't make it as he got what he deserved for attempting to murder an innocent man and supporting a terrorist organization. What are your thoughts on the shooting?

It's ironic that BLM/Antifa Blantifam screams at the top of their lungs when a private citizen who they have intimidated points a gun at them but that's exactly what they are doing to others and the democratic mayors won't arrest them for it,. They only arrest and prosecute home owners who are scared and trying to protect their family from indiscriminate attacks

The problem is, in this one special case it worked out.

But there are also many other cases where peiple mistook toys and other things for a gun and would have murdered a harmless peacefull civilian. (i guess it was confirmed that it was indeed an AK47 and not a nerf gun spraypainted black).


This incident does show that strict gun rehulations can indeed save lives.

Almost all people who commit crimes with guns already had records a mile long and weren't allowed to have guns, not allowing citizens to own them would've changed only one thing in that the seargant would've been shot in the head right there. You have about a quarter of a second to make a decision when someone is raising what appears to be a gun at you, making the wrong choice is a matter of life and death, you don't have time to see if it's real or fake and it doesn't matter either. If you point what looks like a gun at someone's head, prepare to be shot because I'm not risking my life on the off chance that it's a fake gun.
