The partners who choose to be in an open relationship should be really mature persons.

That means they master their emotions really well.

In an open relationship, you know from the start that your partner can and probably would have sex with another person, maybe more.

You should be able to not give a shit about it, and that to me shows a great maturity. A lot of relationship fail due to jelousy and related stuff.

And yet, there are people out there who handle multiple relationships without getting crazy about it.

Open relationship can work as well as normal relationship, but all depends to the partners involved.

If a male wants to make a lot of experiences with women, he should go for this kind of solution, BUT he has to be honest about it.

Of course, a woman have the same option, but unfortunately, she has to accept the fact that will be probably seen as a “slut”, even if she is just doing whatever she wants to do. Of course, she has to be honest, just like the man.

Personally, I prefer monogamous relationships.

Who benefits more is a matter of perspective. The female obviously will get the most outside sexual attention, but at the same time, it's often the male who gets off on her getting that attention. Hotwifes are definitely a thing nowadays, and more and more men are admitting to enjoying the stag or cuckold lifestyles. I personally love it.
