Honestly, I think it's the other way around.
Most men would be thrilled if their girlfriend would have an interesting personality, a set of interests and hobbies, a balanced career and brilliant intelligence.
But most women don't want that, because they don't have to. They can get enough attention, fun and even money in life just by being women.
Humans didn't build a functional society because they felt like it, they did it because they had to. So most women just choose the easiest road in life, and honestly, can we blame them?
But some women are not like that and those are real treasures.

When we see a person, we are seeing their body first. So as sexual beings, it is normal to find a person sexually attractive. When I see a lady, I don't know who she is or what are her values unless I get to know her, that's when respect comes into place

With respect, for the same reason why women still adopt sex positions that are submitting to their man. Sure, they'll be on top and ride from time to time, but if she's ever not refusing to bend over or roll onto her back/stomach or be in doggy/prone-bone/missionary, clearly she's saying with light beacons on: "every (straight) woman knows their place, instinctively."

A lot of them like the attention and you're "programmed" that way by society I think. But I also think (sometimes) women think this but the reality isn't that. Sex is on our brains yes and we are visual, so this is why women think this, but it doesn't necessarily mean (every guy is different of course) that he doesn't see you as a human being, or is ONLY thinking of sex. I think women often just make this assumption and conclusion.
"Like human beings" has always been an interesting phrase to me. Most people treat their dogs better than their friends, so considering a person as a human being is almost an insult.

I agree with this. Men have set standards on what "man" or "masculine" is and it usually falls under his usefulness/ability to provide rather than his humanity.

I am in agreement that men are the ones who set these [anti-human] standards, as they are the ones traditionally with the most power, but its important to see that men are being taught this from a young age with society largely in agreement with them. Women can also uphold these attitudes. "I want a strong man" "I don't want a guy that's too emotional", etc. We participate but, as you've said, they set the bar and have to be the ones to raise it to a level that actually shows their humanity (seeing value in their personhood not just stereotyped traits as well as of those of the opposite sex).

Money accounts for porn, prostitution, advertising, and media. "Sex sells" is the saying. While it is women who get the most attention for it, men are subject to the same. How many video games feature shirtless, unrealistically muscular men? How many commercials? Not often do you see an out of shape man with a small penis in porn, do you? I'd argue we are treating each other as human beings. As human beings are sexual creatures.
