When a guy befriends a girl (and she is above a 6 in his opinion), then he is saying he is happy to sleep with her.
Guys often subconciously choose friends based on attraction. If he is single, and if he deems you above a 5.5/10, then he is friends with you for more than being just friends.
I.e. He has chosen you to be in his inner circle as he deems you an attractive potential female that he would happily have sex with.

I thought she was really hot in the beginning but then she played hard to get or was not interested and I started getting bored of her. It just happens, I mean I can't like anyone forever. Just like any new gadget that I have, if I have no more use for it I get bored. This was the same thing for her sex appeal. Now I spent an entire day with her in some kind of romantic places, but it didn't even occur to me that she was attractive.

Not always true, there's girls I wasn't friends with but would be happy to sleep with, and girls I befriended that I would never touch. There were some friendships based purely on sexual attraction though.

Yeah this is true. Every guy I've ever been friends with wanted to be more than friends with me at some point. I say this over and over again. If you're an attractive girl and you want only friendship, forget about it... he's going to try to push it farther eventually, and then when you reject him, he could be OKAY with it, OR, he could get really butthurt and you've lost a friend. Not worth it.

If we're talking active-active-active then it's 0 out of 26 or so friends. I don't actually push to keep in touch with anyone and lately it's just who keeps in touch with me as much as I keep in touch with them.

I honestly have to disagree with you. My Bestfriend in the entire world is a girl and I would never in a million years think of that. Also most of my friends are girls and the same goes for them. So overall I believe that some guys just don't think like that.

I think they can tho. So long as no one is leading people on and deliberately stopping their friends from meeting others. If it's all go with the flow and natural, then you can be friends and attracted to them and even happy for them if they're not with you.
