A lot of men correlate the bigger the more effective their penis will be. So the smaller the more underwhelming they feel in terms of being a sexually desirable partner.
Women do the exact same thing with makeup, push-up bras, extensions, etc-appearing more desirable. It’s just women are less visual so men don’t really have to do all of that.

I used to be self conscious about my size. Porn gives a really skewed picture of penis size and guys (at least at some point) naturally wonder if that kind of size in porn is what all girls want. And some girls, even if they're a minority, are actually upfront about only feeling satisfied with above average size. But eventually I came to accept that my size is right square in the average range and I realized it was silly and pointless to worry about it. The penises you see in porn (for the most part) are representative of less than 1% of the male population.
