Will the conservative move to abolish abortion and probably eventually contraception mean tons more GAY SEX in the near future?

Only if Clarence Thomas gets his way, and he's on his own island with those two opinions. The other eight Justices were very clear that this decision deals with Roe Verses Wade ONLY.

For disclosure purposes, I'm morally pro-life and legally pro-choice.

Even though those who are strongly pro-life are happy right now with this decision, the only real winners are going to be those who are hard-core pro-abortionists, and not those who are "reasonably" pro-choice. The vast majority of abortions in this country already occur in the more liberal states of New York, Illinois, and California... and those 3 states, along with other more liberal states, are going to wind up legalizing late-term, third trimester abortions. Most of the more conservative states, other than Texas and a few other swing states, are sparsely populated and already have far less abortions than their liberal counterparts.

"States' Rights" works both ways. For every fetus "legally" saved in Texas, about a dozen are going to be "legally" terminated in their third trimester. That's not pro-life or pro-choice. That's pro-abortion.

1. Making contraception illegal is one of those ideas that the left accuses conservatives of advancing, like conservatives want to eliminate Social Security and Medicare. It's simply not true even if you say it a hundred times.

2. Abortions are not illegal. The Supreme Court opinion only says tha it is up the states to make that decision. Some will make it illegal. Others will continue with abortions and it will become an industry in those states.

3. For those who think about consequences, restrictions on abortion should make them more likely to use other forms of birth control.

4. Restrictions on abortion are not going to turn straight men into homosexuals and it won't turn straight women into lesbians. Those are ridiculous ideas.

I mean, Roe vs Wade being torn down is just the beginning.

Birth control access is next, then recriminalization of gay sex, and gay marriage.

It's very obviously laid out the GOP SCOTUS is aiming to bring back their childhood years of the 50s. Why? I'm not sure. At this point, it could be because they somehow think reversing key human rights legislation will bring back their golden years.

So, maybe a small bump, but if nothing is done to fight this trend, the US is just gonna turn into a massive Texas or Florida.

People forget Pride is a protest. I'm hoping this results in even more people realizing they're not actually straight and aligning themselves strongly with LGBTQ and women's issues.

Because really, even straight white men benefit from diversity. Even if they don't see it.

Me having gay sex has nothing to do with the fact that women can get pregnant and men can't, but everything to do with the fact that some days, I really just want to be with a man, and others, I want to be with a woman. I highly doubt that you could find a correlation in homosexual activity level before Roe vs. Wade and after it was ruled.

I don't know why? US is doing this. Now couples will be afraid of having sex. Ban on abortion means more pregnancies, more babies will be born. I think women have to look other alternatives, birth control pills, female condoms or get pregnant. May be US govt. wants to increase population. I have heard US population growth rate is slowing down. I would like to contribute to US population growth.
