Though I have only been on this site for a short time.. I've seen so many girls asking questions like, "Am I a slut?" or "Does this make a huge skank?". It is so sad that women are meant to feel that they cannot embrace their sexuality and have fun.
I know this sounds like the ranting of the feminists that people (unfortunatly) make fun of or get annoyed by.. but guess what?

Attention to men that judge women like this:
How would you feel if one day you woke up and suddenly you were so overly sexualized that you felt ashamed to even admit who you've slept with? Every day women are treated like objects and fuck toys and yet when they willingly and happily embrace their sexual experiences, they are shamed into submission? Think about that the next time you call someone a whore.
Attention to the women who judge other women like this:
There is plenty that I can say to you. But I'll keep it short. Women already get enough shit from men. Shaming other women will not make a better and more desirable person. Let's try to love and care for each other as much as humanly possible.
Attention to the women who have labeled themselves this way:
You are not alone. I have felt those shameful emotions and embarassing moments and I want you to know that there is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with having as much sex as you desire. Just remember to be safe and know your limits.
Please take note of this. You don't have to agree with me.. just keep it in mind.

I admit it I am guilty of calling girls whores or sluts before but only for certain reasons. I don't care if she sleeps around BUT if she tries to fuck my boyfriend yeah she a whore or slut to me.
I check the definition of whore in the dictionary. It says they sleep around "usually for money" ergo, money is not a necessity. It's also considered a synonym for slut. Synonyms have the same meaning. You should go look up the definition of moron.

Thank you for this amazing my take but I would add that people are not to gain respect from someone else by how they dress you just respect everyone nobody gets to decide if someone else deserves your respect. Everybody should just respect everybody even if someone acts disrespectful to them take the high road and be mature because if you disrespect them, thats it they win so be mature and just respect everyone regardless of the way they treat you.
Why is it that men always get the blame, at something that women do to other women more than men do?
Why is it that when one man does anything, it is not that one man being that way. But all men, are this way?
Let me make a generalization about women like that, and I get told very fast and with attitude. That women are individuals, and I can not label you all the same because of what one woman did. Yet are we men not individuals, so why do we all get labeled the same when one man does something?
I do not think a woman that is confident in her sexuality and enjoys having sex, is a slut or a whore. I have called women those names, as part of sex play. I prefer a woman that is sexually confident, and that is not afraid to show it.
I have had other women jump all over me asking how I can date that slut or whore, than try to tell me about the many men she has been with. For the most part the men that do, label a woman as a whore or a slut, are the men that desire said slut or whore but are to afraid of what others will think to get to know that woman.
What I have a problem with, is women that are in a so called relationship that are out catting around behind their committed relationships back. Not the women that are open, about their sexual activities.
It is my experience that the women that have been openly sexual, are the women that are more faithful and are more honest with their partner once they do commit to a relationship.
I work with few women that all call another one slut and whore behind her back, while the one being called names is single and open about her sexuality. Of the ones calling her name, one is married and cheating on her husband. Another is chasing after a married man, but is living with a guy. Yet another has 3 kids by 3 different men, and has no clue as to who fathered her children. Who are the so called whores or sluts, of this group?
The only person that can make you feel bad about yourself, is you. Don't try to blame other people, if you can not deal with the results of the choices you make. If you have been embarrassed or humiliated, at someone calling you a slut or a whore. You need to look at yourself, and ask why you feel that way about yourself if you are so confident in your sexuality and your right to chose how you use it and your body.
Don't try blaming men for the results, of choices you made.
Well, TECHNICALLY, a woman that has had many sexual partners, is considered a slut, that's according to the dictionary's definition, what I don't know is why this word is negative.
By the way, guys, you're not players, just because you like to go from girl to girl without getting attached, it doesn't mean you're a player, just embrace yourself!!

Just to clarify, I don't call women that have lots of sex because they want as sluts, cause it's a derogatory term, I was just saying what the dictionary says "slut" means. To me a slut is a woman that has sex for money or to brag about it. Therefore, you can be a slut just by sleeping with 2 men, but if you've been with 50 you're not necessarily a slut.

But to me, that wouldn't be a slut/whore, promiscuous yes, but not the other. The definition of slut/whore I go with is the one the dictionary gives. I personally don't think that men should be praised for sleeping around, but the truth is that women hold the cards. They are the ones who decide who to have sex with. Men and women have different ground in the dating life. In short: Women can pick who they go into bed with, men have to compete. This means that the men who get to sleep around a lot have competed and won over tons of men. The women who had many dicks in her vagina on the other hand didn't make use of her potential to say no to lower-level men and therefor is easy to get. And that's without the point of women who are promiscuous being statistically way more mentally instable, divorce more, etcetc
Ok, first of all women have a CHOICE to have sex. Sure they can have as much fun as they want, and i won't shame them. But i certainly wouldn't get involved with someone who has had more than 2 or 3 sexual partners. I'm sure plenty of guys are in the same boat as i am.

Choice of words or the ostensibly low number of 2-3 i am guessing, i myself would not date a girl i know has slept with more than 5 different people. I posted here as i don't have the right button on my keyboard to mention you.
I actually prefer sexually unrepressed women who know their way around the D. It's okay to sleep around if you use protection, sexual freedom is awesome. I had more pleasant experiences with these so called sluts than with women who repressed their sexuality in fear of getting a bad label from others. They are also more open minded and love to experiment which is important to me.
They don't know who they are because they grown up with people telling them what to do.
I grew up pretty religious so it's hard to shake the stigma.
Maybe for you. I used to be very religious but still accepted people for who they were.

I seriously can't recall a time that I referred to a female as a whore or slut.
As a straight male it feels self-destructive to demean female sexuality... seeing that I enjoy having sex with women.
As long as there is no deceit or immorality (outside of the sex itself, wink wink) involved, I see no reason to use these labels.
I honestly think girls slut shame more venomously than guys do. I just wouldn't want to date a girl who has slept around and that's not "shaming" that's just having standards for what qualitis I'd want in a partner.

Ah, you're thinking physical ability and confidence though. I'm thinking social awareness. There are so many things that I wouldn't do because I'm too socially aware. At this point in time, sleeping around is one of them. Yes I'd easily be able to fins a guy willing to sleep with me. I have the means and the will to sleep with someone, but I can't. I'm too socially aware. That's where confidence needs to kick in.
@BaileyisDarcy ok yeah I'll agree that it take confidence to do something that's stigmatized. However I don't think lack of confidence is the reason why girls don't sleep around. Some of them just don't want to I think the girls who want a relationship get pissed when the promiscuous girls sleep with guys that they are interested in. Also it puts pressure on them. Like say Molly wants a relationship but then Sally and Stacy are offering casual sex outside of a relationship. This kind of puts pressure on Molly to offer easy sex too in order to avoid losing guys to Sally and Stacy. however instead of playing their game, Molly decides to damage their reputation by slut shaming them and maybe even embellishing stories. this is just my opinion tho so feel free to disagree.
A couple of thoughts here, I think these feminism debates are reminiscent of boys vs girls debates in elementary school. I don't believe gender oppression ever occurred on say the level of racial oppression. I know women received certain rights later in history, for instance like the right to vote. However, you have to understand that historically, no one had the right to vote. Kings ruled through strength and violence, and they were in fact praised and respected for doing so. People have evolved very quickly, but in some ways I think we are more impulsive, childish, and emotional than our ancestors. People are free to do what they want, sex simply put, carries risk with it. We all make our choices in life, and even if you sleep with just one person, or choose to be extremely monogamous, you can still end up with an STD. Your partner can cheat, or maybe your partner has herpes and doesn't know about it. I suggest everyone here get themselves tested periodically when sexually active and just be safe in general. Aside from that, if two adults consent to something and it doesn't directly affect you, then it is none of your business. If a woman sleeps around for fun, for money, or for love, then that's her choice. As long as people are upfront about their intentions I have no problem with it. Over in Europe , prostitution is legal and it makes better public policy sense. The government can test the sex workers periodically for stds, they can mandate safe sex, and the occupation is much safer than when prostitution is underground. I think that's all I have for now, oh wait the wage gap. I think the men earn more than women inequality, isn't a safe assumption. Annual salaries depend on many factors, like hours worked, skill sets, time in position, etc. To really make a case out of income equality, you have to really prove that gender is the only factor in why someone makes more or less than you. I just think people are really easy to jump to conclusions without getting the full facts, or finding out why things are the way they are.
Aside from a general income inequality and abortion, feminists have accomplished most of their goals. Including the right for women to own property, vote, and a no-fault divorce. Women also have accomplished to the right to earn an education, play sports, and work. As far as government and state policy is concerned, I don't see any limitations specifically placed on women. The only career that I know of that women can't work, is combat arms in the military. That is already fading, I'm sorry but I just don't see any other legal obstacles for women. Women are free to do whatever a man can do, at least in most of the western countries.
wrong suffragists achieved voting rights for regualr women (because women were allowed to vote before that but only if they owned property) feminism only takes credit for that. and its a good thing women can't work in combat arms, like seriously america isn't on a shortage of men. were not Israel where we need every solider possible. that and you guys would be pretty useless in combat. women have the upper hand in divorce where they would get alimony which is just silly (not talking about child support) and they 9/10 will get the child even if the father is a better choice. women have always been able to earn an education, play sports and work.
