Are you still virgin if you have anal or oral sex?

Yes, no? Is there any difference if you are a guy or a girl? Why do you think like that? Thanks :)

Well I still have not done anything of that so I can say I'm totally virgin :P But yes I think that it would not be right to say you are virgin if you have done any of those, even though some state you are still virgin and technically you are, I think it's a matter of morals, you can't really say you are virgin, and thanks for all your answers and opinions :)

  • I think vaginal, anal, and oral sex is sex. I wouldn't consider a girl a virgin after any of it. I use a definition from a dictionary. I have to admit that I do care about a girl's sexual past, and I've learned through this website to ask about all of the different types of sex or I won't get a proper answer. I'll assume they'll lie about it anyway, but I have to ask.

  • I guess it's subjective. To me, sex is sex and if you do it you aren't a virgin anymore. But I suppose that's up to you to decide.

  • Only when the extremest thing you've done is kissing and feeling each other's body below the waist.. you can still call yourself a virgin.

I think oral sex is far too intimate... you're sucking a dick or licking a pussy. Not a true virgin.

Anal sex is is just a different hole so might as well be vaginally.

  • Personally, I don't think that oral would disrupt virginity, however I do believe that anal would. My boyfriend, however, believes that we wouldn't be virgins if we did either so we're waiting on both until marriage.

  • A virgin in the vaginal area YES.

But as for the other parts, no because you still have had sexual intimacy any way you put it.

    • People that have had vaginal intercourse and not anal do not consider themselves a virgin. So why should someone that has had anal sex but not vaginal do that?

  • I definitely think you are still a virgin after only oral sex. I'm not so sure about anal. It's a matter of opinion I suppose.

    • Personally I think losing your virginity from either anal or oral would be a little anticlimactic. I suppose you do lose a PART of your virginity perhaps, or a part of your innocence. But I don't think you can be 100% not a virgin from either of those things. I don't think it's black and white. But I do think people can define their own virginity.

  • virginity is subjective. it's different for everyone. define it how you want.

    • i like this

  • in my opnion no you arent

  • i think you're still a virgin after oral for sure. technically you're one after anal as well but I think that even if you didn't lose your v-card you may as well have.

  • I realize there are girls out there who do anal/oral saving vaginal.

I try not to think about it though, because the fact I was never dating one makes me want to cry.

  • Technically you are a virgin if you don't have vaginal penetration... but imo I wouldn't count a girl that does everything else such as anal and oral sex as really a virgin...

  • Imo, you're not. It's not a huge deal though if you've done such. But, like other things I'd consider intimate, doing it casually is meh.

  • virginity is a myth.

    • lol What?

    • Virginity is just a social construct used to "value" women based on their sexual activity. Virgins are more "pure" while women who have more sex are "dirty". Nobody can even define virginity the same way. Lesbians could be virgins for the rest of their lives, so could gay men, based on most people's standards.

    • Oh. I agree with the definition thing, but not the value part.

    • Show All
  • you are if you have done both.

    but I dunno

some people split virginity into the average virginity and anal virginity.

    i do.

so I think you're still technically a vigin if you do both of those.

  • Technically, until you have had vaginal penetration..you are a virgin...practically & realistically I would say that you are not a virgin.

  • Despite what some lesser minds may think, losing your virginity is when you have vaginal sex with a penis, and that is it.

  • No, you're not. Sex is sex, no matter what type.

  • Your just a very gross virgin.

    • Why do you say that?

    • Why? What do you mean why?

    • Why did you say I am a very gross virgin

  • You're not a virgin if you have either of them. Any sexual activity that it's possible to get an std from is considered sex and once you have sex you're not a virgin anymore.

  • In my opinion, yes. I think of losing your virginity when you have penis in vagina penetration, if you're a girl with a boy.

  • Oral doesn't deflower.

Anal doesn't count if it's "just the tip".

If you have to ponder or consider technicalities, you already know the answer.

  • No. Oral sex is still sex as is anal sex. I think once your stimulate a penis with an orifice you are no longer a virgin.
