Do men find short hair attractive?

I have been thinking about short hair a little bit...but I'm super nervous about it.

  • i know girls with short hair who get attention from guys so I think some guys do find short hair attractive, yes.

    theres a girl at my school who has her hair in a kind of long buzz cut partly and part of it is long in the front. its hard to describe but its very short basically, no where near shoulder length and guys like her. I think she's a lesbian though. she was in our class and there was a guy whos kind of a macho type and he liked to hit on all the feminine girls. he would stop her and ask if she cut her hair on her own and flirt with her lol she's a cute girl and I guess it also helps that her body is definitely an A+ and she walks around in short shorts (as do many of the dancers at my school). she's attractive, and her hair is attractive and distinctive. I know another girl whos a punk chick and she has half her hair shaved and guys like her. I know girls with pixie cuts who get lots of attention from guys. one of my friends has a super short pixie cut died blond and it makes her look better, she has amazing facial features and the short hair brings all that out. list goes on. obviously some guys like it or there would be no women with short hair who have boyfriends and husbands and get attention from guys. I highly doubt youve never seen this...

    although I doubt too many of the men on gag are the types who like short hair. this site tends to attract men who like conservative images of women. that doesn't change the fact that there are MILLIONS of guys out there who like more alternative looks, never mind pretty fashionable mainstream short styles.

    I think you should try it. You only live once. And hair grows back anyway :D

  • I really like short hair on girls. I realized about a month ago that girls who I find attractive often have quite round faces (lol sounds weird but I noticed a pattern) and short hair often helps with this. In many cases it won't make you have a round face, so if that's not what you're going for then don't worry! I'm not sure about the first link but I like the second one. From the 5 pics on your profile I'd say you've got the right style and the sort of face that would look good with short hair :) But I'd also say that you look good with long hair. So if you fancy a change then I'm sure you could pull it off, but there's no need to change in order to look good :)

    Also, I like girls with longer hair too. Some guys won't like short hair, others' don't like really long hair. I'd say that anything up to a bit longer than shoulder length is my preference. :)

  • I don't mind it at all, it just has to work for you. That said, I am the worst person in the world to try to advise you on whether or not it would work on you. My attitude is try it, if it doesn't work. It'll grow back.

  • Short hair is good, but in a feminine style. Some women have unfortunately created a boyish look like Emma Watson and Carey Muligan. It's personal preference to me so if they are happy I won't judge them, but it's not certainly something I like. Bear in mind everyone is different so you will have different opinions.

    • :O Emma shortened her gorgeous hair? that was one of the main reasons I liked her. (not really into harry potter though)

    • Neither am I, but there were pics on the net. But if the style is right, short hair can be really beautiful.

  • I prefer longer hair, it is much more feminine. There are some women who look better with short hair, but even one with beauty faces lose some of their appeal with a shorter hair cut.

    • theres nothing 'feminine' about it. plenty of cultures women have shaved heads. then , in this culture, women shave the rest of the body because its 'feminine'. just say you don't like it, instead of making up rediculous theories about 'why'.

  • I don't get short hair on girls. the shortest I like is just above her shoulders.

    There was this semi famous chick on TV who had short hair and I saw a boom of women chopping their hair off and it was so unattractive.

  • Usually, longer hair looks better on most girls, but short hair can look great on some too. I know a few girls (personally) who look much better with short hair than they did when they had long hair. So, some girls can pull it off. Try it, and ask your friends for their opinion.

  • First link only works but I think it's sexy as hell. I love it when girls get short hair, especially really short hair and boy's haircuts. It flaunts their pretty face, looks edgy, and can even add a little bit of genderbending (which I love) into the mix. One of the hottest girls I've ever seen has a buzzcut.
