You're wrong. Beauty standards consistently change, but not as quickly as you make it sound. There was a time less than 100 years ago where thicker women like Marilyn Monroe were the standard of beauty, many years before that "plus size" women were the standard. The media is a huge influence on what people find attractive and it appears that "skinny" is on the way out.
