Have you ever had excessive bleeding while on the implant?
I've had the Nexplanon implant since 29th January. After a week I had my period for about 3 weeks. I was period free for only one week and half, then got my period again up till now. Im worried why am I bleeding so much? I have booked an appointment to see the doctor but it's a long waiting list so I have to wait a week before I can see my doctor. The reason why I'm on this implant is so I can be intimate with my partner but what's the point if I can't even have sex because of my period. Has this happened to you? If yes how did you deal with it? Does this only happen for the first few months for first time users? Advice please

(17)I'm not on birth control
No, never happened to me because i've never even heard of Nexplanon implant until i saw your post just now hahaha
but i did see an article about researchers just started making birth control pills for men, the articles just started popping up since like 2 days ago with titles such as "The male birth control pill could become reality, but will men take it?" so hopefully they'll finish it soon so we don't have to be the ones to deal with the mood swings and all other problems that comes with it D:
depo- same for months. It messes up your system.
It's different for everyone. First implant I bled constantly first few months. Then not at all for months.
On my second one I got now I've realised my cycle goes through months of not having one, then having a period every 8 days. Then repeating
Just the opposite. My first was fine, but not long after it was changed, my periods stopped altogether. Not had one for about 4 years. Not sure if it is the implant or the fact that I am so skinny.
