How do you know if you lost a tampon inside yourself?

I know this sounds incredibly stupid but I swear i put a tampon in but I can’t find it. Like it’s not there. I’ve never done this in my 29 years of life so I have no clue how to tell. When I put my fingers down there, I had period blood on my fingers. My underwear was wet but it’s also black so I don’t know if it was sweat from my being in the car with the heat on or if it was blood.

I went to the doctors and they saw up to my cervix and didn't see anything. Is it possible for it to be in my cervix?

No, the cervix protects the uterus from foreign objects. If something even touches your cervix, you would know it. There is absolutely no way that something could get past your cervix without excruciating pain.
it is impossible for a tampon to get lost in you. you might have taken it out and just forgot:)
I have pushed it out with going to the bathroom before. If you don't feel it and if your like me and don't look. You wouldn't know

It could have went up higher, I saw an episode on tv about it. Apparently it went into her cervix, get an xray to be sure. Maybe try using gloves to see if there's a string to pull
