Sexual tension with my tutor, should I go for it?

I've been studying a foreign language with a tutor for a year. She is the same age as me. We are good friends too! We started talking about sex recently too, more and more frequently. We haven't been talking about sex with each other, but just about sex experiences with other people, and about dating/sex in general. The sexual tension has been building! At least, based on my perception. Should I make a move?

Depends. If she is your private tutor, and you're paying her directly, or getting the lessons for free, and if she is not in any official capacity your superior - then you are just two private citizens that may or may not hit it off as you see fit. But If you do, it will change your relationship. Be aware of that, but if you do not mind that - then you may of course have a great thing coming.

On the other hand if she is your official mentor or teacher, giving you official grades or qualifications - you trying to hit on her will undermine her authority, deprecate her official status and generally make it difficult for her to do her job. So either keep to yourself, or end the official relationship before entering into a romantic one. For a teacher to enter into a relationship with a student is a serious matters in most organisations - so don't make it more difficult for her than you need to.

I'm always free to follow my feelings. Slavery was abolished in 1865. I have my liberty. And of course, my feelings are always to get laid. But, is it a good idea? It's not always a good idea to follow my feelings (banging chicks), with every girl who I am attracted to.

Ah, but that is not feelings. That is urges. Following your urges isn't necessarily very smart. If what you want is a F-buddy - then the waters are WAY murkier. Can't really advice on that. But the potential for hurting people is much greater.

Feelings? What are you, gay? I'm talking about a situation where there has been a lot of sex talk and sexual tension building. There has been no courtship or dating going on here. Believe it or not, women like sex too.
