Why do girls like to experiment?

Why do girls like to experiment with other girls in College? Do they do it for attention? or for fun? maybe this is the only time they can try it out? Why is this becoming a trend?

While I think there is a small amount that is sincerely interested in doing it, I think the vast majority heard that is was a sexy thing for a girl to do and so they do it because they want to be the sexiest.

Not to get too deep but there is this weird move from wanting to be the most morally upstanding woman in the group to now every girl wants to be the most sexually liberate. And to do that, you have to have a few lesbians kisses and affairs in your past.

Look at people like Megan Fox who says she's never had sex with a woman but thinks she is bisexual. How is that even possible?! In reality, she isn't bisexual. She is just claiming it because it's the new sexy thing to do.

If every guy thought it was disgusting that women did it, women would stop doing it tomorrow. But like saphirasilverwings said, it's all about turning guys on. So it's the new push up bra or mini skirt.

People are getting more open about sexuality, so there is less inhibition and less pressure to NOT experiment. It's also becoming well known that guys often enjoy watching girls together, so being willing to experiment that way is becoming an attractive quality.

I think girls do it for a variety of reasons. Some are probably truly bi or wondering if they are a lesbian and trying to find out. Some may just be really curious, and want to have that experience under their belt, and genuinely think it may be fun. Some may do it just for attention or because they enjoy turning guys on that way.

I've done it but mostly out of curiousity, not for the other reasons =)

By best friend tried it, and she said that she definately like boys the best becuase we are a bit rough and have an 'aura of strength' that she just didnnt find with girls. point I'm making is it IS possible for girls to be curious.

Oh yea definately, I'm all for guys. They just have something masculine about them that you just can't replace. A mans touch makes you feel vulnerable and dominated at the same time. Hard to explain =P

Hmmm. Well, being a guy, this is more of a guess than anything.

However, there is a bit of it being a decent way of getting sexual experience without adding male partners to their 'resume'. Many guys don't care how many girl-girl relations a girl has, but will care about how many guy relations they have.

Think about it. When a guy asks how many times you have had sex, he's usually wondering about male partners. (In other words intercourse.) So, if you have only been with women, even if it's a LOT of women, he's not going to really care. He may even be turned on by the thought of it.

Course, that may not be while a girl does it, but it may be why society seems to be becoming a trend.

Probably cause of the excitement around the idea. Or that it's taboo in the first place. The mindset that many ex-college students give the newbies is that you should "Try everything once in college".

It's not "becoming a trend." When you have a gay/bi streak and you're out of the house, you experiment. That's how it is, and has always been.

If always been a lesbian so I was doing that sort of stuff before collage. I'd say other girls do it just to see what it's like.
