When a woman says she gets paid 77 cents to a mans dollar, it doesn’t take into account things like time spent at work. Statistically, if a big project comes up at work that requires overtime in order to complete, men are statistically more likely to put in the time, thus getting paid more. I’m sure you’d agree that if I spend 50 hours at work and you spend 40 hours at work that I’ll get paid more. The wage gap is a total myth. If it were true, companies would hire ONLY women since the company would save money since women “get paid less”.
sure but thats probs cuz that would take into account ALL inventors throughout history and well, it would be hard to invent something without being provided the resources to do so (the reality for the overwhelming majority of women prior to the latter half of the 20th century) which I'm sure you're aware of regardless, even that minority % of females inventors disproves your initial statement.

You still haven't answered my question. How haven't they contributed? women make up almost half the workforce, many are doctors, engineers, scientists, nurses, lawyers, etc. You'll find them in most fields ranging from health care to tech to business asides from maybe some trades that requires a lot of muscle work and carry barriers to break through. so I really fail to understand how you think half the human race doesn't "contribute" anything.

men make up most of the occupations involving heavy lifting (think most trades) cuz they're biologically built for it far better than women are since your average man will be stronger than your average woman. Likewise, women make up most of the primary care-giving roles and make up many jobs centered on the well being of others like teachers, nurses, etc. and these types of jobs aren't less important. Also, It doesn't make much sense to bring up the past (like mentioning wars, inventions, industrializing nations, etc.) if the question being addressed is regarding women's contributions compared to men's in the 21st century aka in current times.

it's like you can't read, I don't agree with you. I've been disagreeing this entire time lmao women contribute in many different ways that suits their biological design just like men do. Since men are naturally stronger, they're better suited for jobs requiring heavy lifting. Since women are primary caretakers, they're better suited for jobs that fulfills the innate desire to nurture but that's also a broad generalization. So both genders contribute in different ways but that doesn't mean women are contributing any less. Do you understand now?

yes, a lot of men have done so much for society. Let's see: drug trafficking, human trafficking, highest homicide rates. What else?
