banna I've hiked naked lots of times. But it's at an AANR naturist club spread out over several hundred acres that is secluded from the non-naturist public. It has miles of trails through woods and meadows and the hikers there (including me) wear shoes. Because the trails are cleared, there isn't much contact with brush on your skin and I've never gotten any ticks. But flying insects at times are a nuisance and you can use repellent. It's really a beautiful place and there are deer and other wildlife. And fair-skinned people would definitely need sunscreen. It's really peaceful and enjoyable.
The AANR club nearest to where I live (still a 4 hour drive) only has ~80 acres, so not the best hiking in the world. There's a lot of under utilized federal land near me where nudity isn't prohibited, although its not specifically allowed either. Our local nudist meet-up group hikes some of it nude, and a few times have run into someone from the forest service, but they've never given anyone any trouble as long as we aren't bothering anyone. There's a remote swimming hole that's a 3 mile hike from the nearest road on a 7 mile loop, and I've hiked that nude quite a few times.
Good for the Forest Service for being cool about it. 👍
They appreciate that we aren't starting bonfires outside of designated fire rings, throwing keystone light cans on the ground, tearing up trails designed for horseback or hiking with ATVs, etc. The particular swimming hole I mentioned sits on a trail that gets maintained by our nudist group (clearing downed trees, graveling low spots, maintaining boardwalk through marshy areas, and cleaning up any trash) so we've given a good impression. They're stretched so thin staffing wise that they've got bigger fish to fry than a group of 8 naked people going for a swim.

I hike naked when the conditions (and regulations) allow. If its really buggy or the underbrush is encroaching on the trail, or there are too many people around, I won't hike naked. Being a nudist I've got a pretty good base tan going, and I wear sunscreen, so sunburn isn't too much of an issue. If I'm backpacking, a lot of times I'll wear a t-shirt but no bottoms to protect my back and shoulders from rubbing against the back pack.

My partner's hobby ranch is located 10 miles outside of the nearest city and has access to a rather vast horse trail that hardly gets used, so we have the privacy and we've ridden horses on the trail while naked. However, it's never actually crossed our minds to go hiking while naked. We did plenty of hiking this summer and the most naked I've been on the trail was in a g-string bikini... which is pretty naked in all honesty.
I hiked well over half the Appalachian Trail topless, and another quarter or so naked. Had bizarre tan lines for my pack straps. If your in remote areas, I had no problem with it.
That for me sounds like it would be fun to do as a couple in a very secluded area of course but sunscreen and bug repellent would be a must for sure. And if consider carrying an emergency pair if small swimsuits just in case

I grew up nudist. Hiking nude is no different than clothed except where you sit lol Bugs are no more a problem but if its an area that you need bug spray clothed then I don't advise nude in fact I advise long sleeves and pants! Guys buy the way mosquitos love hot moist areas like testicals and you really don't want that! Sun screen if you are prone to burning is a must especially on your gentiles. a nice day hiking nude and maybe stop to masturbate is amazing! I encourage you all to try it out!

Hell no. It’s cold and wet half the year here, and humid the rest of it. When it’s humid, the black flies bite you to all hell and it hurts.
