Are Americans too prude for a first world country?

a conversation I was having with my friend has inspired me to ask this. we were talking about how back in my native country we have love hotels in almost every corner of every block within the city. down there we never have any qualms in calling them love hotels or saying what they are designed for. they keep the economy going, they are the place that everyone goes to get their freak on after meeting someone they clicked with at a club, bar, etc.

unfortunately we dont have those types of things here in America, we have motels but they are not as popular nor remotely design to go fuck. this made me tell my friend how I think its funny that my native country despite being a third world country is far more superior than America when it comes to sex.

shit I remember back in 2004 in the Super Bowl when Janet Jackson performed with Justin Timberlake during the half time show and he accidentally (or not) ripped off her top causing her boob to show. everybody here when on a rampage for months like they never seen tits before. oh and the backlash that cause had no limits, such as people claiming that the Super Bowl is supposed to be a family friendly show and there shouldn't be any nudity as if it was done on purpose or something.

is like WTF? it was just a wardrobe malfunction for crying out loud!

and even if it was done on purpose there is no damn reason to go crazy about it. its like have we Americans not seen boobs in our lives? did we forget our mothers used to breastfeed us when we were babies? that our wives have them too and will repeat the process?

hell I remember something very similar happen to an actress during a show that used to be seen by the whole latin American community worldwide back in the 90s. when that happened we the people across latin america laughed and said it was just a wardrobe mulfunction. not one of us acted like we saw Satan live in the flesh.

Superb Opinion

  • I'm an American and haven't lived anywhere else, so I have no real frame of reference for that... but I am aware of what you are describing, and I agree. People expect breastfeeding moms to put blankets over their babies' heads in public here ffs. 🥴 It's wild.

    • all the porn we watch has messed us up

  • Well behind so many countries in the world , particularly Europe and Asia , and its all on the pretense of the Bible belt thing , that being said Australia is just as prudish or worse , the entire concept is complete hypocrisy , just crazy , people seriously need to lighten up there , it makes no sense.

    • wow that's crazy cause a user from Australia ones posted here that a brothel in his town was going out of business because of Tinder

    • Well , who knows where he lives bro? But seriously conservative , I was part owner of a strip club and the amount of grief we copped , even death threats from some nutters.. Religious , and some old ducks , crazy.. Now sure , in his place of business all the hookers have gone to tinder and probably charging same price , we had a number of girls on seeking arrangement.

    • I forgot exactly but damn I guess I got so optimistic. I thought the reason why tinder put them out of business was because women there were nymphos and give it up easier. I mean those are the reason why I prefer sex workers over tinder sluts cause #1- sex workers always respect your boundaries #2- you are still paying either way so might as well go for the one that will give you what you paid for #3- they get straight to the point but hey if tinder bimbos did all the above without charging then of course I would not hesistate to switch to them

  • We are indeed a prudish country when you get down to it. Nudity and sex are taboo subjects, but guns and violence are MURICAAAAA!

    • yeah this reminds me of the year 1997 when the movies Titanic and Face Off came out. everyone at school had a bitchfit whenever I said I saw Titanic just because Kate Winslett gets naked in one scene and gets in on with Leo despite them not showing them doing it. however whenever I bragged about Face Off nobody bat an eye despite Nicholas Cage walking around with his face ripped off in one scene

    • I remember even as a kid I found that scene fascinating. First time I posed for an art class I was thinking about that scene.

  • Yes, they are. The US is the most religious developed country.

  • Your lack of education that comes from being born and raised in a 3rd world country doesn't allow you to see how civilized people live.

    • the same can be said about your parents, hence why even living in a 1st world country prevented them from raising a dumb fuck

    • did not prevented*

  • Yeah, kind of.

  • I say yes
