Are men more attracted to women than women are to men?

So I recently read a question asking which sex is more attracted to the other. Most people said that men are more attracted to women than women are to men because men can instantly feel lust by looking at a pretty woman, while women can't feel lust by looking at a handsome man. In other words, men can find women visually appealing, while women only want a man to have a nice personality and be caring.

I think the difference is in how the attraction occurs. For example, I saw a really cute Asian girl join at work. She expressed zero interest in me, but when I saw her I was like ''damn she's real cute''.
Once she realized I was interested (after I flirted), she started showing interest back. Now she can't even stay away from me, and is clearly attracted to me.
Men's attraction is primary, women's attraction is secondary, but on some occasions I've noticed women I've never talked to showing instant attraction. But most of the time, a woman only shows interest, after noticing interest. It seems them being admired, turns them on, and then they may start admiring the admirer.
Other attraction I've noticed from women occurred when they noticed I could hold a very decent, and interesting conversation, or was funny. But this may not matter unless coupled with good looks.
Men's attraction women is more like a light bulb, but women's attraction to men (from my experience) is more like a set of light bulbs all linked together, connected to a dimmable switch.
So they don't care about looks unfortunately.
For most men, looks is enough to form more of an attraction, whereas for women, it's part of an overall package. If they don't find your looks attractive, then all of the other stuff probably won't matter, and they will just see you as a friend.
Physical attraction for sure, but overall attraction, not sure.
